Marshall lee POV

I examine the wolf like girl in front of me, she flew slightly faster, glancing at her hands every few minutes.
She's turning full wolf, but why?
Were the tail and ears a warning?

"Marshall" Franki's voice broke me out of my thoughts, I instantly fly beside her. She lifts her hand to look at the black fur, "if I stay like this forever, will you still...." she pauses,
I take her hand,
"I will love you no matter what, I'll be with you through everything" I squeeze her hand a little, feeling the fluff between my fingers. It's a strange feeling,
But I'll do anything for you.

Franki lets out a small smile, letting a tear escape her one visible eye.
"Don't be scared" I pull her slightly closer, "you've got this, I know it" I reassure her, she nods confidently,
That's my girl

We reach the house in no time, Franki enters and begins running around the house, shouting for her grandma.
Not that she's ever home
"Franki!" I call out, she was instantly in my face, gripping my hands in panic,
She's fast
"Don't you know she's never home?" I question, holding her hands tightly to help her compose herself. She shakes her head a little,
"We need her" her voice cracks,
Don't cry
I pull her into a hug, "your phone"
She lets out a gasp, slipping out of my grip.
She's really fast

Franki comes back down the stairs, furrowing at her phone. I couldn't help but mimic her face,
"What's wrong?" I ask, grabbing her phone when she came close enough.
She screen showed about 20 texts from FP

Franki please

I'm sorry

I'm so so sorry

They continue like that for a little, but the last one is what caught my eye,

No one will love you like I do, will treat you like I do. Will touch you like I did.

I growl, tightening my grip on the phone, "we'll deal with this later" I look into Franki's eyes for reassurance, her scared face not helping my anger.
I turn my attention back to the phone, instantly calling Goldie.

"My dear! I hope everything is okay" Goldie's voice on the other line causing both Franki and I to let out a relieved sigh.
"It's an emergency!" I call, Goldie instantly hangs up. Franki and I make intense eye contact,

"Well? Now what?" She takes the phone back, seeing Goldie had gone,
"We wait, I guess?" I couldn't help but shrug.

Within moments Goldie walks through the front door carrying a golden handbag, "What's the problem?" She asks, placing her bag down and looking over to us, her eyes widen as she notices Frankis state,
"Oh my" Goldie furrows, making her way over to us, she takes Frankis hand. "It seems you're turning into a full Warewolf" Goldie ponders, I blink,
"What about her vampire side?" I ask, glancing between the two woman,
Goldie looks taken aback from what I had said, "her vampire side?" She questions, furrowing more. My eyes widen, so do Frankis.
"You didn't know?!" Franki almost screams, moving her hair away from the vampire bite marks. Her grandma lets out a gasp,
How could she not know?
"This changes everything" Goldie furrows more, taking in a deep breath.

"We're going to need to call in the doctor"

~

"How much longer" I groan, dropping myself beside Franki on the couch, I rub my tired face. Franki lets a small smile play on her lips,
"Goldie said she'd called the doctor. We just have to wait" She rests her head on my shoulder.

She'd gotten a whole lot worse, her face now resembling a wolf, fur almost everywhere on her body. 'This kind of transformation wasn't natural. It could also mean she won't be able to tap into her vampire side anymore.' Goldie's words run through my mind.

Goldie enters the lounge, a slim woman following her. Franki lifts her head, examining the new woman.
I let out a grunt, standing up, "you're telling me a vampire doctor is supposed to help the wolf?" I point to the new woman, she is indeed a vampire. The pale skin and dark hair, there's no doubt.

The woman kneels down in front of Franki, I watch her every move, anticipating something bad.
The woman pinches a whisker and pulls it out clean, Franki yelps and winces, forcing a growl out of me.
Goldie places a hand on my shoulder, I turn to her.
"She's fine" the Golden witch nods, I furrow and look back to Franki she was back to her normal self, ears and tail gone too. I gasp, forcing myself into Frankis arms, she lets out a small laugh.
"What made her do that?" I ask, still snuggled into Frankis chest,
"There's no real answer, but I'm going to guess she got too angry for her own good" the so called doctor announces, "pain usually brings warewolves back to their human state"
"Pain?" I question, lifting my head up. Franki looks as if she's about to cry, I furrow and cup her cheek, she breaks out of the strange trance she was in. I stare into her eyes,
What did she just see?

Franki pov

Marshall looks up at me, worry covering his face. I couldn't help but smile at the scared vampire king. "I'm fine, I know what I need to do" I nod standing up, Marshall slips off me reluctantly.
I turn my head to my Grandma, "I'm going back to my father"
My words causing Marshall and Goldie to gasp,
"You can't be serious?" Goldie lifts her hand to her mouth in shock, Marshall stands beside me,
"I'm going with you"
My head flicks round to look at him in shock,

"The moment that mutt gets one look at you, you're dead" Goldie speaks up,
She's not wrong. My fathers hatred for vampires runs deep.
"I'll kill him first" Marshall smirks, turning invisible,
"That won't work either, he's a wolf" I grab Marshall's arm, he turns visible again "his nose is a lot better than mine" I shake my head at him, he lets out a groan,
"You have to stay here, I need to do this myself" I slide my hands down his arm to hold his hand, he takes a deep breath in,
"Fine" he manages to squeeze out.

"Thats a big journey" Goldie speaks up, I look over my shoulder at her,
"Better get ready then"
