Ch3- Everyone Knows Now

Y/n Pov

     I smiled as me and Lucinda talked on my couch. I still hadn't left my house but Lucinda has been teleporting over randomly to make sure I was ok. I heard a knock at the door, I sighed as my smile fell. "Your gonna have to come out eventually you know." I turned to Lucinda kinda upset that she brought it up. "I know, I just.......I don't want them to know, if I go out there gonna be even more curios about my hat and then there gonna find out." I felt my ears droop as I thought about how they would hate me. "So what if they find out. If they hate you then they aren't real friends, you don't need to live your life in hiding. Just go out there and be you." I smiled at Lucinda and she smiled back. "I guess your right." She did a hair flip. "When am I not right?" I laughed at her and she smiled. "So, If I'm finally going outside I wanna go somewhere fun." She smiled at me and threw me my shoes. "I know a place. Cmon let's go." I threw on the shoes and walked to the door. I walked outside closing and locking the door, making sure I had my keys on me. "So where we going?" She just smirked at me and I groaned. "No, no surprises. I can't take not knowing things." She laughed at me and pulled me into a hug. "You'll know soon." I groaned and she laughed again. After a while I started recognizing the trail we were on. "This is the trail we would take in high school when we went to that little cafe." She nodded at my excitement with a smile of her own. "It is, so what would you like?" I looked at her with a smile on my face. "Like my tastes have changed at all. My usual of coarse." She smiled at me with a nod. "Ok, I think I'm gonna try something new." I nodded at her, I was really excited. It's been so long since we hung out here, I missed this little cafe, I used to study here almost every Friday. "Hey Lucinda." I froze when I heard Katelyns voice. So this is where she works. I stepped out from behind Lucinda trying to decide if I want a donut or not. "Do you want a donut?" Lucinda turned to me with a questioning look. "I do I just can't decide what donut." She looked at the menu and pointed to a chocolate donut. I shook my head no and she looked at me funny. "Dog, Chocolate, deadly?" Her face was shocked then she face palmed. "Sorry I forgot." I saw Katelyn starring at me and my ear flicked as I waved with a nervous smile. "I think I'll just get a glazed donut." It was awkward there and I think Katelyn is mad at me.......so I might have just gone back behind Lucinda. She hates me, I know it god dammit, she'll think I'm a freak. I shut out the thoughts as I knew if I didn't I would make a scene. "Let's go sit down." I felt Lucinda grab my hand and drag me some where. "She hates me." Lucinda sat down across from me and sighed. "No she doesn't, she probably thinks your a werwolf, you know her past about that stuff." I nodded at her but I still think she hates me. When a girl walked over with our order she was glaring at me. She attempted to spill a drink on me but I jumped out of the way. "Back off." I wasn't even sad anymore, I thought Katelyn was better then this, telling coworkers to spill boiling shit on me. I grabbed our food and left our money on the table. I flipped off Katelyn and the waitress and walked out. "I thought Katlyn was better then that, she tried to get someone to spill boiling shot on me. I thought I knew my friends, but after this, I don't know about anyone besides you anymore Lucinda." My tail was stiff not wagging not dropping my ears were on alert for any kinds of danger. "I'm sure she didn't mean it." I thrnes to face Lucinda. "She and her coworker were glaring at me on our way out! I don't wanna come back and meet our friends again. I wanna go back to hiding in my house." I sat down with my back to a tree. I felt abandoned and hurt, my own friend tried to hurt me. My eyes were flooding with tears and I felt my head hurt. I groaned in pain, my body becoming hot and painful. "Come on Y/n you can't give up now, are you ok." I shook my head no, the pain was so much and I felt my body forcing a shift. I whimpered as I felt all my downs break and reform in a different shape. "What's happening?!" I wanted to comfort Lucinda but that's hard when your the one who needs comfort. When the pain was finally over I got up on four legs. "What am I?" Lucinda's was of pure shock. "I thought you said you were a corgi?" I looked and her confused. "I am?" She shook her head. "Your a German Shepherd." I looked down at my paws and saw I was bigger than usual. "What!" I looked back at my tail to see it was bigger now. "I, I think this is what happens, when I grow up more? I'm not sure but I think it's normal for my body." She looked at me and nodded, "So what now?" I turned to her with a weird look. She smelled funny and sweat kinda. She smelled really sweet, like vanilla and strawberries. I shook my head when suggestive things popped up in my head about Lucinda. What is wrong with me? "We need to head back to my house, I need to call my dad." She nodded and we started walking back to my house. I'll be back to deal with Katelyn later.
