As you entered your classroom, you found a seat at the back of the class and sat down. You weren't really the most social person in the world, so you sunk down as low as you could into your seat and stayed quiet. During the class, you kept noticing a blue cat and an orange fish glancing over to you, nudging eachother and whispering. You tried to ignore them the best you could, and just stared down at your desk for the rest of the lesson, tuning out the world around you.
You drifted off into a world of daydreams, completely in your own universe.
That is until you hear a bang on your desk, making you jolt in surprise. You looked up to see the cat and the fish again, with excited looks in their faces.
"Hi! I'm Gumball! And this is my brother Darwin! We noticed you were new here and so we wanted to introduce ourselves to you! Anyway, we've got science next so bye!" The cat, apparently called Gumball, blurted out before he and Darwin rushed out of the classroom. Before you could do anything however, two hands slammed themselves onto your desk. You gulped and looked up, your body filling with dread as you saw who it was.
The teacher was already angry at you.
"Young lady, you better have a pretty good reason as to why you weren't paying attention in that whole class." She said, putting her hands on her hips and tapping her foot.
"W-Well, Miss.... uh.... Miss....." you trail off, realising that you don't even know her name.
"Simian." She said. "Ms Simian."
"Oh, thankyou. Well, Ms Simian.... I....." You look around the room trying to come up with an excuse, but you get nothing. "I don't know." You say, looking down into your lap.
"Well, Miss l/n, it's off to detention for you! Now go!" Says Ms Simian, triumphantly.
"But I have a free period this lesson!" You reply desperately.
"Exactly." She says with a smirk on her face.
"Fine." You mumble, picking up your things and shuffling out the door.
