It was the first day of school and Desire didn't want to go
~Desire's Pov
" But mommy" she whined.
" Desire stop acting like that and get out of the car" her mother said.
" Hmph!" She made a facial expression giving up.
As I walked in I noticed a brown skinned boy with braces was staring at me.
"Go in your class room mommy loves you see you later baby girl" her mom said.
I walked in and sat down at an empty desk the brown skinned boy sat next to me.
" Hi I'm Dashawn but call me Day-Day" he said.
"Hi I'm Desire " I replied shyly.
-- Later On That Day--(Recess Came)
I was on the swings first when a boy named Trent came and pushed me off the one I was on.
"Move" Trent said. Day-Day Helped me up and pushed Trent back down , Then they fought.
Mrs.Briggs broke it up and put them in time out. When the day was over and we we're waiting for our parents... Day-Day came to me.
"Are you okay ?" He asked.
"Yes but he just bothered me for no reason" I said.
" I'll make sure no one ever bothers you again"He said.
"You promise?" I asked unsure.
"I promise"He said with a smile.
