Garfield And Odie In The Amazon Rainforest!

One beautiful summer day on a sunday afternoon everyone in the city was having a relaxing time. Including the cartoonist house owned by Jon Arbuckle and his cat Garfield and his dog Odie. Odie was playing with his favourite diggle ball, Jon was packing some clothes and Garfield was well, eating like usual.

If you're wondering why Jon was packing it's because the Arbuckles are going for a little trip above the amazon rainforest in a plane. As you could imagine Garfield didn't care about the trip, all he cared about was his stomach growling for food. "I'm hungry" said Garfield "you're always hungry" said Jon "we'll be leaving soon" "great" said Garfield "all I need is more adventures"

The next day the Arbuckles went to the airport to board their plane across the Amazon Rainforest which was quite a trip for them because they usually don't get to go anywhere for trips. On the way the pilot was explaining about the forest and all Garfield was doing was, yep you guessed it, eating lasagna. Along the way Jon thought he felt the plane jump so he asked the pilot Jim what was wrong. Jim contacted the control center to see if something was wrong and unfortunately for them there was a storm that was about to hit.

Everything happened so quickly, the lightning struck the side of the plane which made it start nose diving towards the rainforest at lightning fast speed, Everyone was panicking. After a few seconds Jim managed to pull the parachute lever, saving their lives. When the plane had finally floated back down to the ground, Jon, Garfield, Odie and Jim got out of the plane still frightened from the devastating fall.

When Jim finally got some service he was able to contact the rescue center. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, which didn't last long. When Jim finished the call he told the Arbuckles the bad news. "The rescue team doesn't have very much people working at the closest center, with only one vehicle that hasn't been prepared for months. Which means they won't be able to rescue us for at least a week" said Jim "WHAT, I don't have enough food for a week" "what am I supposed to eat in the meantime?" said garfield with fear written all over his face. "We'll have to go looking for food" said Jim. So the team went out in search of food. Unfortunately for them they only found a bunch of berries and a few nuts. "That's not enough" said Jon "lets keep going" suggested Jim so the team kept going. After a while Jon thought he heard something but he decided to ignore it.

After a while Jon heard it again and this time he didn't ignore it. "What was that?" said Jon in alarm as a giant ape jumped out of a tree at them "AHHH" everyone screamed. The chase had ended when they had hidden behind a tree well at least for now. "How are we going to escape" said Jim "we need to trick him" said Jon "but how are we going to do this?" asked Jim "I have an idea" said Jon. They tied a rope in between two trees to trip the giant ape. When the trap was all set Odie went out and started teasing the giant ape of course ran after Odie when they were at the right place odie waited on the other side of two trees. the ape ran across the rope that had been set and tripped over it. "YAY" everyone cheered "hey guys" said garfield " I found food to last us for years" "YAYY" everyone cheered again. After a week the rescue team came to rescue them they went back to their normal lives but will never forget this experience again.
