"Help me save my home, please!" Kai said pleading me to help him.----------------------------------
I went out on a small trip with my gal, Amy, we went to the beach and went all the way through the shores. We set up a spot far away from people to be private, a small picnic blanket, umbrella, and of course the food we cooked together. We ate a lot, then after a while she passed out sleeping on my lap, I just smiled and stroked her hair. After a long while I saw something wash near the area where me and Amy are, I gently moved head head of my lap and decided to check whatever washed up on the shore.
To my surprise, I saw a man, his lower body still submerged in water, he looked injured. I went close to him and started to pull him out of the water, but as I pulled him out, I saw that he wasn't a man. He had a red and silver colored fish like tail, fins on his back and side, as well as gills on each side of his lower torso. I moved backwards a little in shock, "Mermaids? They're real, or am I just dreaming?" I said to myself. Amy woke up and saw me, I pointed at the Merman, she gasped and told me, "Well we can't just leave him here, put him in the cooler then let's take him to your place, he could stay in the bathtub until he regains consciousness." I retaliated at first, but if we just left him there, the fishermen would find him and quite possibly take him to the government.
We then took the cooler off the trunk of my car then brought it to where we found him. We then proceeded to fit him in the cooler, luckily he did, he was really heavy to add. We then brought him back to my car, we packed up and left for my house. Once we reached my home we quickly moved him from the cooler to the bathtub, Amy then opened the faucet to fill it up with water. "I'll go unload the other stuff in the car, you go watch over the Merman, mermaid, you know what I mean." Amy then did as she said, I sat beside the bathtub looking over at the Merman. I dipped my hand in to see if the water was warm, it was. The Merman started coughing, but he was still unconscious. After a about half an hour, Amy and I were eating some food she made while watching the Merman, the Merman startled awake. "Driella! .......Where am I, he says then he looks at us, "Humans?! Wait I'm out of water! Where did you take me!?"
We jumped up, Amy nearly fell but I caught her. "Sir, its alright, you are in my home, we brought you here to keep you safe. You washed up on Luceus beach's shore unconscious and injured. If we had left you there, some fishermen would've captured you and who knows what would've happened to you," I quickly filled him in to calm him down. He calmed down a little then laid back, "Is the beach far from here?" He asked. "No its actually pretty close," I replied. "Then can you take me back there?! I need to help my people," He instantly answered. "Why? What's happening?" I asked him and he replied, "It's being raided by an enemy tribe who claims to have found the power to corrupt species underwater . There were sharks, stingrays, hostile sea creatures that they brought, and they followed what they would say." My eyes widened, "Controlled? Did the creatures they were controlling have red eyes?" I asked and he replied, "Now that you mention it, they did, why?" I gasped, "The control gem, the enemy tribe you speak of found a very rare gem that is usually seen very deep underground, and since you live under the ocean, there is a high possibility that they or even you to find one."
"A control gem? Such a thing exists?" The Merman asked. "Believe it or not, there are a lot of undiscovered gems in our world, like the Forma Mettalum a gem me and my professor found and used to create our invention," I said to him. He sat up in the bathtub, he then looked at me and Amy. "Help me save my home, please!" The Merman said pleading me to help him. Me and Amy look at each other, "I can turn you into Mermaids for the time being, when we get to the water that is," he told us. Amy looked really excited, "Well I guess it can't be helped, we're helping you," I told him. "Great, you have my thanks," he told me. "Alright, if its true that your enemy has a control gem, we have to take it away from whoever has it and destroy it," I told the both of them as they nod. "Let's go then," I stood up to get the cooler so we could also transport the Merman the same way we brought him.
