Nate was about 7 years old and Mika was around 6 years old. Mika came running into my room in tears and hugged me. "Mika? What's wrong?" I had a high pitched voice at this age. "M..my d..dad w..wants me..t..to..f..find a ...M...Mate!" She stutters with her gently soft voice. "Mika.. I'm sorry." I wrapped my arms around her giving her comfort. "Nate I'm to young for a mate.. I don't want to.." she cried into my shoulder "shh Mika just tell him your not ready for that.." i hugged her tightly "t..that's a great idea your so smart!" She pulled away and smiled. I smiled back "Well what are you waiting for?! Go tell him!" She nodded and thanked me once again but we both knew we are each other's mates.
The next few days we spend at the field and ran around in our wolf forms chasing each other. We were the bestest of friends and we looked out for each other. We didn't tell anyone that we were meant to be mates. As we got older by two or three years later I could tell she started to fall for me. I began to grow fear as he didn't want to ruin our relationship.
My dad approached me worried "son I have to send you out of this country.. theirs people after you.. yoyr just to powerful and people are craving that power!" I started to tear up. "But dad I don't want to leave!" My dad teared up to as well as my mum "we're sorry baby you have to!"
It became the day I had to leave my home my family my friends. I said my crying good byes to my family and friends and Mika.. I got into the car and looked back waving. Mika ran after the car but couldn't catch up crying. Her dad hold her back as she screamed "NATE NO PLEASE COME BACK! YOUR MY MATE!" the whole people around her looked shocked and sad. I looked away frowning and allowed myself to be taken away.
After a few days at being at my new place I got a letter saying there was an attack on my families house and both my parents were killed along side many other people but no wired about Mika. Around that time I expected her to be dead or captured. I had spent days grieving over if I had just stayed if things would of been better. I had to be moved to different towns and cities multiple of times due to the fact my identity was shown because of the other wolf's craving my power that I wished I never had. Most nights I had cried myself to sleep until I got over what the wolf's did to his family. Every school I had went to I was left with no friends or no one to care about me just on my own learning stuff repeatedly. Getting boring as I got older and easier. Eventually I got word that Mika was still alive but captured and there was no way for her to escape or get rescued. I took time out of school trying to find any way i could help without going back but I never could come up with some thing.
More wolf found out about my power and who I am and I had to move once again to a new school to whom I found ally. I had spent my entire life running away from my own kind being alone not able to tell anyone who and what creature I am.
I punish myself for not updating this story In so long I am so sorry for the people who enjoy this book! I shall update more often from now on!
