Alex's POV

"Psst Alex"
I look across the classroom to see Jisung staring straight at me , once he sees he has got my attention he continues
"Do you want to come to Hyunjin's house to check up on him with me after school?"
Hyunjin hasn't been to school in 2 days and hadn't contacted us either I was getting worried so quickly replied
"Yeah sure, wait for me by my locker."
"Chan and Changbin are coming as well."
I sighed, I never had the best relationship with Chan and he was too uptight and he always clashed with my personality.
But I wat to check up on Hyunjin so I flashed an ok sign and looked back at the board.

I was standing in front of my locker waiting until
"EYYY ALEX."
Changbin put up his fist, I scoffed but bumped it. Jisung smiled because we didn't need a big hello as we were in the same class a few minutes before. Chan just stayed silent so we didn't start an argument straight away .
"Let's go losers" I said and we made out way to Hyunjin's house.

Jisung knocked on the door so hard I thought the door would actually fall off its hinges , however after what felt like forever Hyunjin's mum opened the door , "Jisung how many times to I have to tell you knock gently? Anyway what can I do for you kids."
"Um we would like to see Hyunjin please Mrs Hwang." Chan spoke for the first time today,
"Sorry guys but he's not here, maybe try his Dad's house? He hasn't been back yet however he should be coming back tonight."
"Oh no problem Mrs H we'll check with his Dad, sorry for bothering you."

"He's not here sorry kids but he left for his mothers two days ago so he could get ready for school, have you checked there yet?"

"Oh yes sorry, I just remembered he told me he would meet me at the park, bye Mr H."

Where could he be, he definitely wouldn't run away. And even if he did he would tell one of us. What if he's in trouble, what if-
"EARTH TO ALEX!"
"Alex stay focused we've been calling you for the past hour."
"Jisung we were calling her for about ten seconds." Chan said, we made eye contact for a few seconds until he looked away
Changbin continued his plan "We call the police and have them look for him-"
"Bin its not that simple and you know it"
"Well Chan its our only plan right now unless you have a better one!"
Silence...
"My plan it is then, I'll see you guys tomorrow."

▫▪▫▪▫ two days later at lunch

A few more people were reported missing and we still had no news on Hyunjin. Everyone was worried but we all had different ways of showing it. The arguments between Chan and I were getting more frequent and whenever I tried to make a point about looking for Hyunjin he would blow
"The police are trying their best Alex so pack it up and deal with it."

"Its a masked killer for all we know and the police are doing nothing."
"Shut up Alex!"
"We'll be like the Scooby gang"
Jisung joined in "Wait that's a valid point I could be Fred."
Changbin joined in next "No I'd make a better Fred."
I cut them both "I've been thinking about this for a while now and already made the positions . Chan is Fred, Changbin you are Daphne,"
Jisung started laughing before I glared at him making him shut up
"I'm Velma and Jisung , you are Shaggy."
He was about to protest but I glared again making him put his hand down and close his mouth
"Who's Scooby?" Chan asked
"See I'd knew you'd let loose, anyway I'm sure kkami misses Hyunjin so I could ask to dog sit and voila. There's our Scooby."
"Alex I think you have persuaded Chan, he dressed up as Fred when he was 6 for Halloween."
I looked at Chan hopefully
"Fine but because I'm Fred I lead and everyone listens to me."
"Deal." We all chorused
But Changbin soon realised who he was positioned as
"Wait why am I Daphne? I'm Dark Changbin can I swap out."
"Dark Changbin my ass." Jisung said before the bell rang and it was time for last period
