"Good, yer awake." Said a gruff voice.
"Hagrid?" I asked, feeling drowsy.
"I came ter see if ye was alri'" He said cheerily.
"I'm just feeling a little sore, that's all."
"Madame Pomfrey came by ter tell ye ye can leave, bu' ye was still asleep." He gave a small laugh.
"Hagrid, how long have you been there for?" I asked him. I wasn't keen on the idea that he was watching me sleep.
"Ony' bout five minutes or so." He responded. I gave a sigh of relief. That wasn't too bad.
"I was wondering if ye wanted to come down ter my hut fer a cup o' tea." He said, sounding rehearsed.
I was a bit hesitant, not sure if I was up to going down to his hut.
"Ter be honest, I've got something ter show ye." He added in a whisper.
Now I was more hesitant, but I agreed. "Meet me at my hut in 10 minutes." He said, as he got up to leave.
"See you then Hagrid" I called after him.
Madame Pomfrey noticed I was awake and hurried over to tend to me.
"You can leave the hospital wing today dear, but you've got to take this first." She handed me a bottle of chunky liquid. I wasn't sure what was floating in it, but I wasn't too keen to find out, so I swallowed it as fast as I could, trying not to taste it.
"Now y/n you need to take it easy. I can tell your still sore, so don't go overdoing it. That's an order." Her stern voice echoed through the hospital wing. I nodded and hurriedly left the room.
I met Hagrid at his hut and saw that Sam and Abbey were there too. When Abbey saw me, she gave me a big hug. I grimaced.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry y/n. i didn't mean to hurt you." She squealed.
"I'm okay, just a little sore is all." I replied.
"Arch and his goons got detention for what they did." Sam said.
"We better get going then!" Hagrid boomed in his usual cheery voice. We followed Hagrid uncertainly, taking 3 steps for every 1 of his.
We looked at each other nervously. We were headed towards the forbidden forest.
"Hagrid," I asked. "What exactly are you taking us to see? You know the forest is off limits."
"You'll see soon enough, just be patient." Hagrid said. I could tell eh was grinning.
Faint rustling came from deep in the forest. Hagrid had taken us into the forest many a time before, but something about the way he spoke told me the thing he was going to show us, was big.
