Naruto sighed softly as he walked on the quiet dark streets of Kohana. He pulled his hand out of his pocket, looking at the watch on his wrist. 1 am. I really shouldn't be out.. but what better do i have to do anyways? Naruto thought to himself. He pulled the scarf on his neck over his nose. It was November, so of course it would be quite cold outside, especially since it was nighttime. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. The vibration made Naruto jump a little. He reached into his pocket and pulled his phone out.

Naruto quickly unlocked his phone and went into his messages.

1:02 a.m. / Hinata  😻 : naruto, are
you up? please tell me you are.
.

Hinata..? Naruto's mind raced with thoughts. He got worried.

1:03 a.m. / Hinata? What's wrong?
read 1:03 a.m
.

Hinata.. I know you saw my message. Please answer.

Naruto stopped and layed back on a brick wall, staring at his phone. After 2 minutes, Naruto got too worried. He got back onto their messages and called her.

brrr..
buzz..
brr...
"H-hello?" A shakily voice answered.
"Hinata? Are you okay? What happened??" Naruto answered in a serious yet worried tone.
"Mm.. I-I don't know. I'm hiding. These strange people kept following me and I made a run-" Hinata stopped.
"Hina? Hina?? Hinata?!" Naruto yelled into the phone.
"shh for just a minute!" Hinata whispered into the phone. "I'm by the park, in the alley by the coffee shop! P-please get here."
"I'm on my way right now! Come into the park, I'll be there in less than a minute-ttebayo.." Naruto said in panic as he bolted into a dead-set sprint to the park. Luckily he wasn't far, he just needed to run north for about 30 seconds. When the park came into sight, he saw a figure. Hinata! "Hinata!!! Over here!" Naruto yelled, still running. "Naruto-kun!" Hinata ran torwards Naruto too. Naruto pulled her into a tight hug and felt the wetness of her crying onto his chest. He gently rubbed her back to try to calm her down. "Are they gone hinata?" Hinata moved her face out from his chest and looked around. "I-I don't know.. they were just following me. It look like a group of men. I don't know, im sorry." Hinata wiped her tears and put her face back onto Naruto's chest. "Let's go, you're staying with me tonight. If not I'll be paranoid-ttebayo." Naruto smiled sheepishly. "Mhm." Hinata nodded. "Wanna get on my back?" Naruto asked. Hinatas face of course turned red. She nodded as Naruto bent down. She climbs onto his back and hugged his neck, inhaling the scent. It was so nice that it could intoxicate someone like a dream. Hinata smiled. "Let's go, believe it!" Naruto started running back to his apartment, and Hinata just held on tight.

Oh how Hinata loved him so much.
