Ghostbusters (Video Game Version) ⏸

Part Two

In a nearby house, two plumbers that goes by the name Mario Bros. fixes a broken pipe in the bathroom.

Mario: Luigi?
Luigi: Yeah Mario?
Mario: Hand me the wrench.

Luigi grabs the wrench and hands it to Mario.

Luigi: Is it a star?
Mario: Yeah!
Luigi: Woohoo! We have enough to open the door.
Mario: Yeah, and all we had to do was look inside the toilet for it.

Mario and Luigi walk out of the bathroom and into the hall where they hear a strange laugh.

Luigi: Uh, Mario, did you hear something?
Mario: Yeah. I heard it.

Mario peeks around the corner of the hall to find a darkened area.

Mario: Hello? Is anyone there?
Luigi: Mario, wait!
Mario: Luigi, what is it?
Luigi: Maybe w-we should just t-turn back.
Mario: Luigi, it's alright. Nothing bad is going to happen to us. Trust me.
Luigi: B-But Mario, it's d-dark.
Mario: Don't worry Luigi. I got your back.

Mario walks into the dark hallway with Luigi shivering behind him.

Mario: Hello?
Luigi: H-Hello?
Mario: Is anyone here?

Mario walks up closer to a door. The room inside dark as the night sky. Luigi crept in slowly.

Luigi: M-Mario, maybe we should get a flashlight.
Mario: Nonsense Luigi. We'll be fine.
Luigi: But what if there's g-g-ghosts?!?
Mario: Luigi, how many times do I have to tell you? There's no such thing as ghosts.
Luigi: M-Ma-Maaaariooo.
Mario: What is it Luigi?

Luigi ducks, pulling his hat over his eyes as Mario turns around slowly to catch a glimpse of a red, blue, pink, and orange ghost floating up from behind a desk.

Mario: Oooh....
Luigi: G-g-g-g-g...
Mario and Luigi: GHOSTS!!!

The ghosts laugh and chase the two plumbers out of the house as fast as possible.

Mario: That's the last time we fix toilets in a haunted house!
???: Psst.

Mario and Luigi look around for whoever made the noise.

???: Psst. Over here.

The Mario Brothers walk over to a nearby shed in the yard and finds an ape with a long beard.

Mario: Did you want to talk to us?
???: Come inside. I have to show you something.

Mario and Luigi step inside the shed. Who could this new character be? Why are ghosts terrorizing everyone?
