Once upon a dream

“The Escape”

As long as I remember, I get this weird dream that starts with the toy where I ate the balls as I couldn't stop playing that game idk. It was like a roller coaster game that in life they were ups and downs, knowing the we have to get through whatever is coming to us.

Then the scene change, I was eating now on a house where there is a backyard at the right side with a swimming pool on it. The table where we ate was tall, so I climb the chair to sit then eat. We ate an eggplant. I saw my little niece, Aby climbing up the chair to sit beside me and whispered my ear that our little treasure got stolen. I get mad somehow, and I told her to get there soon. Then suddenly, there was an attack. Two familliar soldiers intervened to our house. We knew they're looking for us.

Me and Aby ran at the backdoor and headed to our secret hidespot. Idk what happened, we appeared on the front of a tall wall where a small pond behind us and its lillies began to float. We press the button on the wall as we used to and it opens to welcome us as we search the treasure that we knew it's already gone. We heard footsteps coming nearby. Aby shouted to close the wall as we're consumed from inside that we knew we are already trapped. We think as it was the end but I didn't give up..I search for any clues behind the wall and keep searching some buttons that could leads us another pathway which was crazy.

Then suddenly, I found it there was another pathway but it was blocked and we can't get through. We only need a little push from it. So we both push and headed to escape as we can feel someone behind us, following us. We run and run without stopping. I saw tigers far away. No, it's half human and half tiger which they had tails behind their hips and a growing ears at the side of their head. It was black like a panther and a dark orange with it. We still run to the escape, pushing out through the doors. I don't know when we got separated but I knew I was already running alone somewhere.

Another door came infront of me, as I ran passed through it. It's like another university kind of school where all students gathered to play sports. I don't know why but they saw me as I was got caught into something. I was scared so I run to the other side and climb upstairs near at the library. I heard the coach shouted to find the girl with blue jogging pants. When I look below, I was wearing one. Since when did I wear this? I saw a tall muscular guy, walking towards me. I thought I got caught when he grabbed my shirt as I shiver when his breath blows to me, knowing that he was a drunk. I was busy thinking if I should change into something so I wouldn't be caught.  He started to remove his pants that caught me a new realization. That's it I'm going to borrow his pants and wear it so no one would notice me. Suddenly, he grabbed my shoulder and said,

“Come play with me..” He begged then suddenly went unconscious.

What did he mean by that. I feel sorry for this guy and grabbed his gray jogging pants and wear it. I run again, leaving him. Windows. I'm going through the windows and jump for my escape. They saw me climbing up on the windows as if I was crazy. I punched the window but it didn't break but I noticed there was an old crack but already repaired it like it was glued or something. Ooohkay? So why it wouldn't break? Suddenly, a wind blows through my face, knowing that it was when I'm going to escape. I passed through the window then jumped and climb down in rush. Another players caught as if I was wanted to them or something.

I'm confused.

Why was I running at first place? And what am I running for? I was scared and got be caught on something, wondering Aby would be okay somewhere. She wasn't a little anymore. She grown up so fast like a teenage girl. I was running and running non-stop with heavy breaths as I ignored the pain, lingering through my feet, knowing that I'm already exhausted from the run. I forced myself and didn't stop as I run forwards with guards chasing me. It was like I was a huge famous criminal here and couldn't stop once I get caught. Before, the guard could grab me as I was passed through the net, knowing that I was safe so far. I was on my school activity, doing their sports. I saw my few classmates playing volleyball.

I was wondering why I didn't stop but still heading towards the exit. I heard my classmates could my name. When I went to the exit. They came there first so fast, knowing that I was trapped. The scene began to fade as if It was time to wake up. But I didn't stop running, I was looking for the clinic as if I was ready collapse there, asking if Aby was okay. Once I reached to the clinic, I collapsed there on the bed, asking the nurse, telling Aby would be alright. The heavy weight lingered on me gained my consciousness. So I was shut down  and woke up in reality. It was like a furious game without an end. Running to my escape without stopping just like no matter challenges was thrown at you, reminding you to not give up hope on something you were risking for. I've never thought a dream would have  a good reason and hid a deep meaning of it.
