Dev groaned as he fell to the floor. He rolled it out the way as the large tree stomped the ground where he should've been.
"Come on fairy boy we're hungry! We haven't seen one of you in years!
He glanced at another tree who was swinging it's branches at him and he tucked his wings in further as he swung his sword at it.
"And it's royal blood too."
He slashed the tree against it's root and it fell forward slightly.
"Yeah well I don't feel like dying today sorry."
He raised his head to call out, "Xania Ropultis!"
The trees froze before looking at each other and laughing, "What's that supposed to do? Scare us?"
"We're already enchanted!"
Dev sneered at them, he hated Dramus trees. They were enchanted by the evil fairy queen, Alvernia when she was banished to the forest. She made them hunger for the good fairy blood and starving for the royal family's own.
He slashed another branch as it whipped toward him and gagged as it's acid spilled on his shoes.
He shook his boot and glared as it turned from black to brown.
They were his favorites.
He really hated these bastards.
A blast of light came from abive and Dev sighed as he glanced up at the fairies, "Finally!"
A whole crowd of faries came down from the sky all wearing the royal guards uniform and made a barricade around him.
One of them turned back and glanced at him, "We'll protect you King D- Ohh!"
Crunch.
The tree grinned, "Delicious."
Dev face palmed.
"Idiots."
Jazmine looked downward and saw a small reflection. Something had to be down there. She begin to swim downwards and suddenly she was beginning to feel water enter her lungs. It was a set up.
She swam faster as the monster came charging at her. She choked and spit out water and tried not to inhale. Her way out was down and the water was trying to make sure she didn't get it.
She saw vines floating and she gasped for breath but that was a mistake as she inhaled a mouthful of water. She sputtered and hurriedly threw down her bag and held onto the vines and began to swim up.
She felt a hit in her side as the monster said, "Having trouble breathing?" She glared at the chuckling monster before smirking as she felt the vine tickle her leg.
"Not anymore. But you will."
She shot her hands out and the vines immediately wrapped around the monster. It squirmed before yelling as it got tighter, "What is this? Let me go!"
Jazmine tilted her head, "How about no." The monster looked as if it was going to explode and she held up her hand as it screamed in pain.
"Peek a boo."
The monster roared in anger and she spotted the back of its throat and she smirked as she held her hand out, "I see you."
As the blast went off she turned her body as she felt a splatter and her body was slapped with something.
She wiped her face and gagged, "Oh Rahmas that's blood." She grimaced as she tried to push the piece of flesh from off her body. She gagged again, "I think I'm going to vomit."
