Before We Met

The days where you got to stay in bed and enjoy the comfort with no work or stress, were the times you wish had a longer time period.

High school.. The place that some movies and tv shows create into something disastrous. Typically you would think bullies and mean teachers, but at New Mountain Lake, its anything but that.

The teachers are always focus and very attentive to the students without a doubt. Something unlikely that Would seem out of the ordinally in some minds.

For the students who attend New Mountain Lake are required to wear a special logo, specifically design to identify who you are and what grade you are in to make the whole progress easy.

Emily Conner is ambitious and very shy with no social skills, up until the day that her dad announced that she was going to her dream school. From then on, Emily decided that her whole demeanor of "old Emily" was to be locked away and "new Emily" was to appear in place.

She is what you like to call, a straight A's student with the ambition to succeed without any fails or complications.

New beginnings equal new me right?

I love the music program that they have to offer here, especially how accurate its taught and how they take the time and patient for every single student who learn at a slow pace.

Walking through the grand hall felt overwhelming. 3 days ago, I didn't even have hope that I would be here since dad was always busy moving place to place for work. Of course that meant, I had to travel along too.

"Hi, you must be new!, what's your name?" Snapping out of my thoughts, my eye focused on a young beautiful woman about 5'2, smiling so wide, it must've hurt.

"Emily..., Emily conner, and you are?" I said while giving her a slight smile that didn't quite reach full potential.

"Beautiful name you have there, I'm Tay, Tay Lucifer," Tay then slighty giggled while she tried to imitate my introduction.

"Erm.. Where exactly am I suppose to go now?" I asked while looking side to side.

"Follow me." Said Tay

Tay started walking while I strayed behind looking like a lost puppy. Turning through the corner, There were tables set through out the hall with endless amount of humans signing up and getting to know one another.

Walking up to the many tables was nerve racking to say the least but if new me were to come out it would be now. Tay had to leave to attend to others so that left me to socialize.

Tapping on a random shoulder was most likely not good but I needed to venture out of this shell I had within me. The tall person turned around and raised one eyebrow.

"Hi!, I'm Tom," He seemed friendly.

"Hi!, I'm Emily, Can I stick around?" I gave him a friendly smile.

Tom smiled and offered me his hand.
