Nori's POV
"Come on let me bandage you up," said a woman supposedly named Jia. "Th-Thank you..." I mumbled. She looked at me with concern and I knew what question was coming next, I felt my breathing hitch and the tears building up again, dad was right I am weak. "How old are you?" she asked me, I wasn't expecting that question, "n-nine," I said quietly. "Aww, you're the same age as Fang!" she declared happily. "H-huh really?" I asked her. She nodded happily before reaching for a roll of bandages. She slowly wrapped it around the cut in my leg, suddenly my mind filled with thoughts of what had happened earlier.
-Flashback-
"Ohhhh Noritada please come heeeereeeeee~" my mother slurred her words. She was drunk again. I slowly walked down the stairs only to see her with a pocket knife in her hand, the smile on her face grew as she lunged at me.
-End of Flashback-
Fang's mother then looked at me and sighed, "did one of your family members do this?" I felt my stomach drop, then my eyes began filling up with tears. She nodded, "I thought so..." she then picked me up not even surprised by how light I was and said, "feel free to stay with us!" she said happily. I wanted to hug her but I remembered what mother said, I nodded and she held out her hand for me to hold.
