Spider-Man was a well-known New York's vigilante. Not everyone loved him but they couldn't deny that he helped others. He has never killed and usually people weren't afraid of him. He was also known because of his terrible jokes and comments. Villain or just plain robbers knew that they had a slight chance of talking him out of an arrest as long as puns were there.
When Spidey didn't make jokes and talked only about business you could just give up. He would catch you no matter what. There was a legend among the bad guys that once someone lasted almost 8 minutes against Business-talking Spider-Man but most guys were caught before clock hit 5 minutes.
Less than a minute. That's how long it takes Spidey to catch bad guys when he's silent. If you see your colleague in webs but you haven't heard a single joke that's when you're in big troubles. Silent Spider is the most terrifying one and before you know what's going on you're arrested. No one has ever escaped from silent Spider-Man.
But behind the mask was a sensitive and pure boy. Peter Benjamin Parker. His friends and family knew he always talked. Pete was talking even while eating or during his sleep.
Seeing that kid without a smile was rare. If he wasn't smiling it could mean two things: first, he's sad and second, you are as good as dead.
Silent Spider-Man was scary but silent Peter was terrifying. Even Natasha and Bucky were afraid of what this superhuman could do.
The Avengers saw Pete this pissed off only once but they didn't want to repeat that ever again. It was when some psychos kidnapped him when he was on his way to the compound because the word got out he was a personal assistant of Stark. At first he was just a little irritated because he had his chemistry homework to do but after around half an hour of men's constant talking he had enough.
"Can you shut up?" He asked from his chair and everyone looked at the boy surprised he said anything.
"What the hell was that, you little shit?"
"I asked if you could shut your dirty mouth." Said boy with such a cold voice that men froze for a second.
"J- Jensen, give him a lesson, would you?" Said the boss and one of the bad guys stood up and walked to the teen. His hand stopped about ten centimetres in front of boy's hair and man paled. The person sitting in the chair wasn't a quiet boy anymore. He looked like he could kill and gave off such scary vibes that kidnapper wanted to run away but teen's glare kept him in place.
"Jesen? What are you afraid of a little kid?" Joked other man but his smile fell the same time Jensen hit the floor.
"What the he-" He didn't finish because Peter's glare fell upon him. Boss looked up from his papers and found himself frozen like the rest.
Teen broke free from the ropes he was tied up without even blinking. He got up and slowly went to the table. He picked up a pen and wrote something down on the paper. Then when Jensen tried to move from the floor he shot him a glare and the man stayed where he was.
"Stay." Ordered the teen to the kidnappers.
Peter casually walked out of the building he was kept in and called a taxi which took him to the compound where Pepper greeted him with kisses and questions. They talked for a while and when she made sure he was alright they sat down and both started working on their own things. About an hour later all of the Avengers got into the living room and went straight to hug Peter.
" "Sorry, I have homework to do?" Seriously?" Sam sounded irritated.
"That was amazing kid!" Clint said and he with Scott laughed.
"Are you okay?" Tony asked and teen smiled.
"Sure. I just got a little mad so I used my super strength. I'm sorry about that."
"No, no. Don't be sorry. You can use your powers to be safe, kid."
"Okay, Mr Stark." Said Peter and everyone decided to watch a movie together.
Next day when Natasha came back from interrogating the kidnappers she gathered all Avengers in the common room and played them a tape from the building where bad guys took Peter. When they were tying him to the chair all heros clenched their teeth.
"C'mon guys, I didn't do anything. Why don't we just go home?"
"Shut up, kid." One of the men barked and Peter rolled his eyes. It truly looked ridiculous. He was kidnapped but looked more irritated than scared. Natasha skipped a video to eighty ninth minute and Avengers looked as their lovely boy who turned into more scary than lovely teen. Just before exiting the room he looked straight into the camera and everyone held their breath.
This wasn't their Peter.
This was someone they'd call Terrifying Silence if they would have to choose because these were the only two things their brains could think about.
Being terrified and silence.
The end.
