"Mrs. Kirishima, Eijirou is colorblind to the color red."

"So does that mean he can't see the color red?" Was heard through muffled voices behind the door. Which Eijirou knows is his mother.

At the moment he's sitting in the waiting room at the hospital. He's waiting for the doctor to finish talking to his mom.

His whole life Eijirou hasn't seen the color red. And it sucks. His favorite hero, Crimson Riot is basically all red but he can't see it. He doesn't care wether or not he can see the color. But that doesn't mean he's not curious to what the color looks like. Is it bright like yellow? Is it dark like black? Those kinds of questions were swirling around in his head. He just wishes he could see the color at least once. When I say he's colorblind to red, it's only the color red. Like red, dark red, maroon, any colors that look like red. So he can still see the other colors like orange, green, blue, yellow, purple etc. He snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked up and saw his mom staring down at him.

"Let's go Eijirou" Said his mom in a soft voice. He stood up and followed his mom out of the room and out to the parking lot where her car was parked. She unlocked the car and got in. "So I'll be able to see the color red when I find my soulmate?" He mumbled looking down but audible enough to make sure his mom heard. His mom froze and hesitated for a bit. "You heard?" She asked. "Not that much but I was able to make out what he said and I'm pretty sure that's what he said." I said to her lifting my head up to pass my fingers through my hair. "Yeah" She said barely above a whisper as she began to start the car. She started driving away from the hospital back home. I looked outside the window and looked at the small window on the side of the car. I looked at my eyes. My eyes are supposed to be red. I told myself. I kept staring at the small mirror for so long that I didn't even realize that we had arrived. I got out of the car and walked up to the door. Once my mom opened the door I walked up to my room and flopped down on my bed. It's been a long day. I reached out to my sweater and got the phone from my pocket. I pressed the home button squinting as the blinding light appeared. 22:45 huh? I should go to sleep it's almost 11pm and I have school tomorrow.

•~3rd POV~•

Eijirou was 14 and in his last year of middle school. He has red eyes, black hair, and a scar on his eyelid that he got from his quirk. His dream is to become a hero. So to start with that dream he's planning to go to Yuuei High next year. Right now he's in a shitty middle school with even shittier students. Somehow people found out about him being colorblind to red and started bullying him. He didn't do much about it though. They hurt him emotionally by calling him names and making him feel worthless. But that soon changed into hurting him physically. They started punching, kicking, shoving. Once they even pushed him down the stairs. But he didn't care. Until one day they beat him up so bad he was found laying unconscious and was brought to the hospital. After that they found out who the people were but didn't get expelled. They only got scolded and suspended for about a week, that's how fucking shitty the fucking school was. It was good without them there but that week passed pretty quick so it wasn't the best when they came back.

This was his favorite memory because that's when he first met Ashido. Save for almost getting beat up but it was still worth it. Ashido came and scolded them at the exact time they were about to punch him in the face. She got them in trouble and introduced herself to him. After that they spent more time together. She was his only friend at the moment but he didn't care. It's better than having no one. She was always there for him and he was always there for her. She was his best friend. That was the only reason he looked forward to going to school. Except for when the bullies see him alone and take advantage of it. But Ashido would always be there.

Eijirou couldn't help but smile at the memory. He sat up and went to grab his charger. He plugged in his phone and laid his head on his pillow. He looked up at the ceiling. What would happen if I see red? It would be because of my soulmate.. Would they like me back...? What if they think I'm weird? He shook his head immediately snapping out of his thoughts and instead just laid on his side and closed his eyes waiting to go to a sleeping slumber.

~The next day~

Eijirou woke up to the sound of an alarm ringing. He turned it off and went to go brush his teeth. He walked into the bathroom and looked at the window. Every single time he looks in the mirror he looks straight at his eyes for god knows how long. But he quickly snapped out of his daze because he had school today. He quickly brushed his teeth, ruining it more each time he brushed his teeth due to the sharpness of his teeth, and went to go get changed. I'm tired and sleepy. Why do I have to go to school, I don't wanna go. He was thinking of staying home but decided against it.

Little did he know he was gonna meet his soulmate.
