~Eijirou's POV~
I can barely hear anything. All I can hear are the faint sounds of sirens. Both from the ambulance and the police. I can hear people talking, yelling, screaming, and being nosey. My head is fuzzy and can't function properly. What's happening to me?
"What happened?" I heard a voice say.
"That boy over there got run over by a bus" I heard another voice say.
As soon as I heard that faint sentence it all rushed back to me. Seeing a boy, running across the street, yelling to him, and then getting run over by a bus..
I was too focused on figuring out what was happening and trying to get the boy to pay attention to me that I didn't even realize that the light was saying go. So...here I was being put into an ambulance. I can hear people talking about me in the background.
"Okay, okay, let's pull him into the back"
"My son!" I can hear my mom yelling in between sobs.
But.. I just can't bring myself to open my eyes. I feel like I'm in a deep slumber and can't open my eyes. My body feels like it's burning. I feel like my head is being hit with a hammer millions of times. Then out of nowhere I start to lose consciousness and can't tell what's happening any more.
~Time skip brought to you by my lazy ass~
I slowly start to slip into consciousness but without opening my eyes. I can hear the heart moniter thing (I don't fuckinh know what it's called alright) beeping. I can feel someone's hand on mine. Must be my mom. I can't help but think about before I was hit by the bus.
I tried to think about the boy I bumped into. Tried to remember what he looked like. I remembered his ash blonde hair. I tried to remember how his face looked.
But... Whenever I tried..
There was something blocking me from remembering. It's like everytime I tried to remember it would be his whole body and then his face crossed out. It really pissed me off.
I slowly started to open my eyes. I squinted as I saw the blinding light of the hospital lights. As I groaned I heard shuffling next to me and felt the hand on my hand grip tighter. I looked up and saw Ashido. "Kirishima! You're awake!" She yells. I look at her and notice her tear stained face. Was she crying? Why would she cry because of me? I don't deserve to be worried by people. "Ashido.. " I whispered. "My head hurts" I say as I sit up and bring my hand that Ashido's not holding up to my head. I felt bandages wrapped around my head. "Uhh.. yeah your head took a really bad hit." She said letting go of my hand and touching the bandages. It was silent for a moment. Then Ashido broke the the silence "How?" She said barely above a whisper. I looked at her and saw tears starting to form in her eyes. "How what?" I asked. "How'd you get run over?" She said in a whisper. She was struggling to talk without full on crying her heart out.
I thought about the boy but once again the black bar in his face. Should I tell Mina what happened? I looked over at Mina and saw her staring back at me, tears streaming down her face with the softest look ever. Might as well tell her. "I saw this boy" I started. Her eyes widened. "Was he attractive?" She asked trying to be positive. ".. Yeah" I said blushing slightly. At least, that's what I remember thinking after I saw him. "I accidentally bumped into him. You know how I can't see the color 'red'" I asked looking at her. "Uhh.. yeah?" She said. "Well, I saw a color that I have never seen in my life. It was like.. pink but darker.. Ugh I don't know how to describe it!" I yelled back. "Wait so you actually saw the color red!?!" She yelled back sitting up from her chair. "I guess so.." I said looking down at my hands that were now on my lap. "Do you know what this means?!" Shouted Ashido. "YOU FOUND YOUR SOULMATE!" She yelled tears stopping from rolling down her cheeks. "Ashido quiet down!" I whisper yelled to her. "Sorry, sorry, anyway how did he look like?" She asked me after collecting herself. I turned my head and looked out the window.
