All this is in Philip'a POV:
"Wait, why would Lukas freaking Waldenbeck ask you out?" Anna asked me for the trillionth time today.
I just look over and smirk at her not going to give her anymore responses.
"Philip." She says again. "Answer the question." She finishes.
"He didn't ask me out. He asked to go to the homecoming dance with him." I finish. I've already explained this to her.
"And you said yes?!" She nearly screams bumping into someone on our way to lunch.
"Yea. I didn't have anyone else to go with." I say looking away for a moment.
"So, he's just someone to go with? You don't like, actually like this jock do you?" She says invading my personal space.
"No. I kinda like him maybe?" She looks at me fuming. "What's wrong with that? He seems like a nice guy Anna." I say trying to reassure her. She's only trying to protect me because this is my first relationship.
Well, not relationship because we're not dating.
"What goes on?" Jakob says walking next to us.
"Philip is going to homecoming with Lukas Waldenbeck." Anna finishes before i could even tell him.
My friends are really protective over me. And very sensitive to my feelings.
"What! That guys a total asshat." Jakob says looking about as mad as Anna does right now.
I look over at him frowning getting into the lunch line grabbing a tray to put my food on. Jakob and Anna mimicking me.
"Have you guys ever had a conversation with him?" I ask them seriously.
How can you hate a person you've never talked to?
Well, never mind.
"I don't need to have a conversation with him to know he's an asshat." Jakob says
"What is an asshat Jakob?" Anna asks laughing
"Him." He says pointing to Lukas. "He's an asshat." He says even louder getting Lukas' attention as he makes his way over to were I'm standing.
He walks over very confused looking brows intact.
He looks like he's about to kiss me. Our noses rub together before Anna pushes him back.
"What are you doing?!" Anna says trying to protect my face.
"Trying to kiss him?" Lukas says very slowly and almost question like.
"Bro, we appreciated the offer but NO. Philip doesn't date asshats." Jakob says
"Dude, you don't even know me." Lukas says his friends coming up behind him.
"What's going on?" Lukas' friend Drew asks.
"Apparently I'm an asshat." He tells Drew.
"Which you are."
"Can we just sit down and eat lunch." I finally say trying to prevent any fights that are bound to happen and we were holding up the lunch line.
When we all sit down at the table, Isabella looks at us and is all kinds of confused.
"Philip is going to homecoming with Lukas." Anna says not letting me tell anyone myself apparently.
Bella smiles when she hears that.
She looks like a proud mom.
"Really? That's so cute. Are you guys doing matching colors?" She asks looking very invested in our outfits.
"I don't know. We could." I say to Lukas who looks like he's not sure either.
