"Hey Ward" you could hear pain and hate in her voice, it was shooting in the air like snake's venom.
"Skye?!" he did not expect to see her so fast after what happened when she shot him.
"Yeah shocking I know, you're going to help me." she was really close from passing out. Skye hit the wall behind her, she needed some support standing. Slowly sliding down the wall leaving blood stains where her body was before but with the rest of her strength she pointed the Glock in Ward's chest. "Pretty please."
"Damn it Skye, you need a doctor not me." he said running to her so she wouldn't hit the floor.
She was wearing originally dark grey t-shirt but the fabric turned into dark bloody shade. And her leather jacket was laying on the floor next to her. Her whole arms and hands were in different shades of purple and red. There were a few green or yellow spots witch meant they were older injuries. Ward didn't know where the blood was coming from but he hoped he could help."Ok let's get you on a couch, come on" he was about to pick her up when she pulled her gun higher.
"You want my help or not?" every part of her body told her how bad of an idea it was to even be here but she had no choice. She was far from being fine. She needed stitches on her back from the impact of her powers and cuts, so even if her hands were in relatively good condition she couldn't reach her back. Skye lowered her gun but was still holding it just in case. Ward helped her walk to the couch and went looking for supplies. Shortly after on the table in front of Skye were standing, bottle of vodka, some bandages, needle and some drugs she never heard of.
"I hope you weren't attached to this t-shirt cuz it's soaked in blood." he grabbed back of her shirt and ripped it from the bottom to the top."Just stitch it up, if you can." she was sure it wasn't that bad just not the easiest location to reach for her. Her arm were much more painful than what ever was happening on her back.
Ward took a deep breath when he moved pieces of material from Skye's back and saw how bad it was. She took of whatever was left of her t-shirt, staying in her sport's bra. Her shoulders had a few long bleeding wounds it looked like something ripped her skin from inside. There was also a hole in her shoulder that did look familiar, someone had to stab her. He felt so bad for her.
"What happened?" He said with almost compassion in his voice."I had a meeting with your friends from HYDRA. You were there I guess you are getting sloppy in being spy if you didn't see me." she heard his teeth clench.
He ignored that little comment "These wounds don't look like something that HYDRA could do. New weapon?" she thought about her answer.
"You can say that." Skye wasn't even lying she was a weapon just not theirs. He saw she was not telling him anything else."I don't have anything for the pain so..." He stood up and grabbed a glass from the kitchen cabinet. "The vodka will have to be enough." he opened up the bottle and filled the glass half full with clear liquid. He handed her the drink. She just drank all of it, like it was glass of water.
"Okay that was impressive, need more of that?" he almost smiled."Yeah one more" she held up the glass. She decided to drink this one slower. She needed a painkiller but with this guy in one room she had to be ready to fight at any the time, so she couldn't let herself drink too much.
"OK so, I have to clean the cuts. It will hurt." they both took a deep breath.
She felt his hand on her shoulder and then burning sensation shot through her body. Her muscles tensed up from the pain. She just grabbed her glass and shot it down her throat. He finished cleaning her wounds, filled her glass one more time and put vodka down.
Stitches weren't close as bad as disinfecting or maybe the alcohol rushing through her veins started working. It didn't take Ward long, stitching was something that he learned shortly after the academy. Being a specialist meant doing everything on your own including taking care of your injuries.
"Take this, it will help with your wounds heal." Ward picked up suspiciously looking jar of medicine from the table.
"Yeah, no. You're not really someone I trust to not poison me." Skye tried to sit more comfortably. She was little cold sitting just in her bra so she took another sip of the alcohol.
"I'm not trying to kill you. You shoot me remember? Four times."
"Yeah that was probably too much, two would be enough. About that how did you survived?" that was interesting, she did remember how much it sucked with only two bullet holes.
"You didn't hit anything really that important, some hydra agent found me on the floor, they stitched me up and gave me these drugs" he shook the jar so the pills that he was trying to give to Skye, tablets hitting one another made unpleasant sound.
"It helped me regenerate fast. Not like GH-325 but it's been what, two months since you shoot me and I'm ... fine." he had a good point, if it really worked like he said she could use it.
"So can you just take it" he was looking at her with those puppy eyes that she remembered from before he betrayed them. But he fuelled SHIELD for so many years. She couldn't trust him.
"Skye" he woke her up from her thoughts. "If I wanted I would just take you out now, bare hands. It's not like you can do anything to me in this condition. " She knew he was right, she needed to heal and fast to be able to do anything, she could barely pick up a glass.
"Or in any condition, I may add. I'm sorry to say that but even with May training you have still a lot to learn." he added.
'Right you don't know about what happened after I shoot you, good I might have some advantage if I ever need it.' Skye thought."I'm not afraid of you Ward." She looked in his eyes, hoping she would see some insurance for her next move.
"I'm not saying you should, just making a point." he held his hands up like on gun point for a second to show that his not a threat.
"OK fine give me that." she gave in.
"Once a day" he handed her a plastic jar.
"You don't need it any more?" She was still looking for something to tell her to not take the medicine.
"I took some more just in case, I guess it was pretty good move."

Who loves Ward just like I do? Hope you enjoyed.
