I woke up to pounding on my door.
"Diya get up you'll miss your flight!" My sister screamed as she hammered on my door.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes , a throbbing headache burst in my brain and I hissed as a beam of sunlight fell into my eyes . I had been out till 4am that night and judging by the light the seared my eyes it was close to midday. I dragged myself out of bed and stumbled towards my bathroom as I felt the drinks from last night coming back up. I fumbled with the door , looked at my pink fluffy laundry hamper and jumped towards it just in time. I shut my eyes as a torrent of vodka , half digested cheese fries and bile flew up my throat and out my mouth into my half full laundry hamper.
I sat on the ground when all of my stomach contents had finished entering the hamper and wiped the back of my hand across my mouth.
I smelled terrible , like this wasn't the first time I was sick this morning. I looked down at what I was wearing, the same black, tight almost see-through dress I had had on last night. My black stockings were ripped at the thigh and I only had on one foot of 5 inch black heels. I looked around for the other one but it was nowhere to be seen.
I reached around to unzip my dress and found the zipper already undone.
I froze
What did I do last night ? I thought to myself.
Then suddenly everything came rushing back.
The surprise going away party
The drinking
The dancing
Alan
I grabbed my face with both my hands
I let go and stood up on shakey legs
What happened with Alan??!!
Wow!!! what a going away present. I walked to my bathroom door, I turned the key and unlocked it and walked in
The scent of stale vomit hit me . I dry heaved since there was nothing else left in my stomach to come out. The toilet was almost half full with vomit.
So I had been sick before no wonder I reaked
I quickly flushed the toilet and stripped off my dress stockings and underwear my bra was missing. I giggled when I realized
I wonder where it was
I probably left it in Alan's car . I took a quick shower and wrapped a towel around myself and when to the sink to brush my teeth and put on my makeup.
I finished this quickly and walked back into my room looking at the two big suitcases and the large duffel bag I'd pack for my 3 month stay with my great grandmother Mimi.
I walked to my half empty closet to find something that would be comfortable for a 9 hour flight.
I put on an oversized t-shirt and a pair of black leggings that went right to my ankles. I slipped on some flats and went downstairs dragging my bag behind me.
My older sister Janice stood in the doorway looking at me like she couldn't wait for me to be gone.
Our parents had died the year before in a car accident . She had to quit college and come take care of me and my baby brother Steven ,he was just 2 years old but he still hadn't said a word.
"Come on bugger!" my sister snared at me
I rolled my eyes and dragged my bags past her outside to the car she had rented to take me to the airport.
As we drove on the highway towards the airport I stared out the window at the passing trees and moped about my sister dumping me in some far away country for 3 whole months.
A few hours later we pulled up to the drop off area at the air port, my sister practically flew out of the car , threw the trunk open and within two seconds was flinging my door open and dragging me out of the car by my arm.
"What's your malfunction?" I screamed rubbing the place on my arm where she had grabbed me
"Get in there ....get on that flight and....don't fuck up!!" my sister whispered to me since people where looking at us after my outburst.
I rolled my eyes again and picked up my bags balancing my duffle bag on one of the larger bags and walked in to the airport not even looking back at my sister.
