Click- Clack
The class types away on the chrome books around me, working on story endings. I sigh, and brush my hair behind my ears. I finished typing a while ago, and usually I would work on a Google Slide or something, but today I am too tired and just decide to sit and look around the room. The three other people at my table concentrate on their stories, and no one pays any attention to me, so I am free to look around the room. The first person I decide to look at is Sophia. Sophia sits across the room from me, with her back facing me. We sit with our desks grouped together like tables, and she is at the farthest one from me. She clacks away on her computer, not paying attention to a thing. Then I look closer at her computer screen. She is playing a game, which is not allowed. I roll my eyes, not bothering to call her out. Then my eyes wander to Jacob's computer screen a couple seats away. He isn't super smart, but he gets by. He is somewhat nice, but still like the rest of the boys, ignorant and annoying. On his computer screen is just a thin 'paragraph'. I lean over a little bit to get a closer look. His screen says:
I was so exited I said. We get to see him today. I smiled looked at my brother he said im exited to.
I wrinkle my nose, wondering how anyone could write like that and not realize how weird it sounds. I glance over at a couple other people, writing a normal amount. Then my eyes land on Noah's screen. I blush and look away. He wrote almost a full page, and is now revising his work.
Noah is my crush.
My absolutely massive
incredibly enormous
SUPER SECRET crush!
No one knows, not even my sister.
He is so cute. When he smiles, one side of his mouth raises higher than the other, making my stomach flip flop. He talks to me like he talks to every other girl, casually. He DEFINITELY doesn't like me. Though I wish he did. Every time I wish on a star, or when I blow out birthday candles, I wish for Noah Simmons to like me. He stars to turn around, and I whip my head back to the computer and sigh. He will never like me.
