"are you serious y/n? can't you see the line? you're taking way too much time to get the orders!" momo, my coworker, whispered in my ear as she passed by me holding a cup of coffee. she handed it over so that i could give it to the customer.
"you need to hurry up before our boss sees this," she gave me a fearful look before walking away to clean the tables.
but it was too late...jungkook had already walked in through the back door. i could hear his steps as he was coming closer and cl-
"y/n you've got to be kidding me! it's the third time this week, how long does it take for you to place an order? you're lucky your sister is my girlfriend otherwise you would have been fired long ago," he sighed as he came closer.
"you know what? it's better for you to just go home for the day, come back on monday," i couldn't say anything, if i talked back i would get shouted at by my sister when i would get home.
so i went to the lockers and grabbed my things before leaving and getting into my car.
it was cloudy and windy outside so i quickly ran into the vehicle. i turned on the engine and quickly put on my music.
it started raining so i drove faster.
i wasn't paying too much attention when i heard screams from the car in front.
everyone seemed to stop to go take a look at what was going on.
curiosity killed the cat and i got out of my car. i peeked my head and what i saw was terrifying.
there was blood all over the floor. a person was on the phone, i assumed they were probably calling an ambulance. people were pushing to see the accident that had just happened so i couldn't see anything.
i decided that it was probably not very important and i drove home.
right when i opened the door my mother was in tears. i started to worry. what could have happened?
"y-y/n baby, d-did you h-hear the news?" she struggled to talk as she was still crying.
"no mom what happened tell me," i pulled her into a hug.
"i-i'm so sorry to tell you this, b-but your sister, sh-she got run over by a car and-" she bursted our all her tears.
i couldn't believe what was going on...this couldn't be happening.
