jo yuri.
hyewon and sakura were cuddling together during break time. i pretended to say that i couldn't stand them being all lovey dovey together. really though i just envy hyewon for even having the guts to say something to a senior as powerful as sakura.

they're basically the most popular couple of this whole school. if only i were hyewon ; brave enough to confess to yena , one of the seniors i'm closest with. as close as we are i don't think she's THAT into me.

i mean i never really asked.

"you know jo yuri , it's about time you ask her" sakura said. i rolled my eyes. the girl seems to never want to leave me alone.

"shut it miyawaki i told you ; i'm over her" i replied. but really though i would bet my life for choi yena.

i hear hyewon chuckling. "hey jo yuri we all know you still go all heart eyes when yena walks by ; there's no point lying." she says.

i was shocked hyewon was on her girlfriend's side usually she'd tell her to stop teasing me. "since when were you on miyawaki's side !"

"listen ; how about you go up to her now. she's just a table away" she says pointing towards yena's table. "ask to speak to her in private ; miss ahn yujin there is very nosy" hyewon continues. we all know yujin's known for "wanting all the tea".

i sighed. if i don't go now all hyewon and sakura's gonna do is nag to me. slowly i stand up "fine ! if it means miyawaki not teasing me and you not nagging anymore then i'll do it." i said.

hyewon was clapping while sakura looked at me wide-eyed. "wait for real ??" she asks still her eyes opened wide in shock.

i nod "yes for real". sakura gave me that "proud mom" smile. i took a deep breath.

"wish me luck" i said softly before walking over to yena's table. as i got there i tapped on yena's shoulder. "uhh yena ?" i said.

yena turns around. goddamn she's so beautiful.
"uhh i wanna ask you something." i said a little panicky inside. yena smiles "sure !" she says. gosh why is she always so happy ; it's adorable.

i paused ".. in private ?" i said again.
yena nods and gets up then turns around to her friends "i'll be right back" she says. we then headed off out of the cafeteria. i swear i saw hyewon winking at me as we were walking out.

i checked the time. 5 more minutes until the bell rings. "so uhh well i was wondering if you wanted to .. i don't know go.. out with me this saturday ? unless you're busy with dance and all then it's fine i understa-" she cuts me off and says "of course joyul ! where to ?" she asks.

i felt my heart flutter. she called me joyul !
i knew just how much yena loves going to amusement parks. "how about Everland ?" i said confidently this time.

she nods happily "it's a date !" she says.
i nod slowly "y-yeah !"
she then gets ready to walk off as at that exact the bell rang. "see you saturday yuri !" she yells out.

i smiled and slowly waved at her. "yeah saturday" i replied softly ; which obviously she did not hear.
