"UP!" A loud voice boomed. The three newly inducted genin woke up from their three hour nap. Sasuke noticed his hand was in Sakuras lap, and he moved away, blushing red. Kakashi internally growled, annoyed by Sasuke's antics.

"Mmm, five more minutes, okaasan!" Naruto mumbled. Sasuke rolled his eyes, and sighed. He looked over to Sakura, who was fluttering her eyes open from sleep, and he covered his face with one hand.

She looks so cute... He thought. Then he slowly moved his love's head from his shoulder, got up and proceeded to kick Naruto in the stomach.

"EH? WHO DID THAT? WHO DID THAT? SPEAK UP, I'MMA BEAT YOU UP, -TTEBAYO!" The blonde haired genin screeched, furiously looking around. Nobody said a word, and his other two teammates were already in a line, Kakashi in front of them, reading a small yellow book. Naruto scrambled up, and stood next to Sakura, grinning. Sasuke narrowed his eyes, and moved Sakura to the left a bit, so he stood in the middle. Sakura frowned, but decided not to make a big deal of it.

"Kakashi-sensei! Stop reading porn." Sakura mumbled. Kakashi lowered his book, and stuck his head out, meeting eye to eye with his daughter, who was rolling her eyes.

"No Oto-san?" He incredulously asked.

"On missions and training, its only proper to call you Kakashi-sensei then Oto-san. Okay?"

"Uh, okay..."

Kakashi closed his book and slipped it into his leg pouch and cracked his knuckles.

"Alright. I'm going to explain this mission... or rather this survival test. Listen carefully, I'm only explaining it once." The three students nodded, eagerly awaiting their teachers words. Kakashi's pride soared, and he felt important and mighty that people were actually listening to him.

"Todays assignment is to get these two bells away from me by noon. Those who can't get no lunch. I should also mention that the rate of passing this test is sixty percent... and if you fail you go back to the Academy." He said with a looming voice. The three widened their eyes, shocked.

"B-but thats not fair!" Naruto wailed.

"We just became Genin, sensei!" Sasuke exclaimed.

Only Sakura remained quiet. The one way end result was quite shocking, but also very odd. How could three newly inducted Genin, who hadn't had any experience, training or knowledge in on to on combat. Pondering on the idea, a realization came to her mind, and she smirked.

"Theres only two bells, -ttebayo!" Naruto exclaimed. Kakashi shrugged.

"Means two of you will stay, and one will go back."

Sasuke stepped back, and a shiver went down his back. He couldn't fail this test, If he did, how could he face his father? How could he tell him that he was sent back to Academy. Clenching his fist, he decided he had to get one bell. No way was he gonna let Itachi beat him.

"Does everyone understand the rules clearly?" Kakashi asked. Naruto and Sasuke merely nodded their heads, while Sakura grinned, crossing her arms. Kakashi raised his eyebrow.

"Overconfidence, Sakura?"

"More as in realization. Your so old-school, Kakashi-sensei."

He had to hand to her... Rin and Obito noted she was quick in figuring out the true meaning behind something.

"Okay, let see which loser is gonna go back. On your mark, get set, G-," Kakashi didn't even finish his sentence when a blonde blur swept in for a punch. He easily blocked it, and sighed. Sakura and Sasuke twitched their eyes, shocked.

"One of the first things you learn in the Academy is to be subtle." Kakashi said as he put Naruto into a headlock position, and the blonde winced in pain.

"I'm calling again... ready.... set... GO!" This time, all three disappeared. Kakashi smiled.... this team had ways to go. Reminded him quite a bit of his childhood, his time being a genin.

Sasuke crawled up a tree, his red eyes darting everywhere, protecting his blind spots. Sure, he only had two tomeos on his Sharingan, but more then enough. It wasn't like his sensei had any.

"Yo." Startled, Sasuke slightly turned around to meet a Kakashi holding up a peace sign as he giggled a little at his book. Rage burned through the black haired boy, and he bit his lip, controlling his anger.

"Am I not acknowledgeable enough for you, Kakashi-sensei?" Sasuke said as he gritted his teeth, and balled his fist. Kakashi lowered his book and gave a knowing look; Sasuke reminded him of how he used to be.

"It depends on what you show, Sasuke." The boy narrowed his eyes and gave a cocky grin.

"Really?" With that, he flashed his Sharingan, and attempted to put Kakashi into a genjutsu to stabilize him, and whipped out shuriken, aimed straight at the Jonins chest. He smirked. The Sharingan could capture a person into a genjutsu, and making them unmovable until the caster decided to break the captured one out.

POOF.

A smoke billowed out and a pice of wood dropped to the fresh grass with a clank. Sasuke's eyes widened. Substation?

"Thought right, my young student." A voice overhead called. Sasuke didn't even have time to look up, and he was already into the ground, only his head showing. He gaped, his thought process too slow to even fathom what just happened. Looking up, he saw his sensei giving a closed eyed smile, and his book was open.

"W-what j-just happened?" Sasuke asked. Kakashi put his book down slightly, and grinned.

"You got a bit too confident, huh?"

"What?"

"The Uchiha Clan does have the ability to put an opponent into a genjutsu. But it also depends o how strong you tomeo is, how many are in the eye. Two tomeo doesn't have a strong enough genjutsu to hold me. Do remember your against me, Sasuke. Overconfidence is a major factor that can get you killed." With that, the Jonin disappeared, leaving Sasuke in the ground, frustrated.

"Damn... I should have known he was stronger. I better ask Nii-san on how to control my Sharingan better." He mumbled, looking down.

"Eh, you should." A voice sweetly said. Sasuke heart jolted and he looked up, his eyes meeting with leaf green ones.

"Sakura... did you see that?"

"Sure did."

"All of it? The battle?"

"Nah, just the part when Oto-san... Sorry, Kakashi-sensei gave you a mini teaching moment."

"O-oh."

"Anyways, wanna work together?"

"Huh?"

"Work together. Two against one might help us get the bells easier."

Sasuke snorted. Him, a prodigy of the Uchiha Clan, getting help? Besides, there were only two bells. If he and Sakura got one while working together, and the dobe somehow getting one, who would go back? Not him for sure.

"Sakura, I'm the second son of the Uchiha Clan."

"So?"

"So I can do this myself. I don't need any help. I'm a prodigy. Besides, what if theres one left, seeing if the Cheesehead gets one? Not a good turnout, huh?" Sakura narrowed her eyes and growled.

"Your pretty stupid, Sasuke. Some prodigy." Sakura scornfully said. Sasuke gave a glare, and the pink kunochi disappeared, leaving white smoke behind.

With a sigh, Sasuke began to use his hands to dig... this was gonna take a while. But he had to hurry up. He couldn't let anyone else get the bells before he did.
