Chapter Twenty-Eight

Y/n POV One day later

I woke up because someone was shaking me. I opened my eyes and see Lauren. I said "Wtf Lauren I was sleeping". She had this annoyed look.

She said "Well someone is looking for you since you didn't come home last night". Oh fuck I have to make up to Caitlin somehow.

I get up and looked at her. I said "Thanks but see yeah around". I headed out but I saw Mila and she looked sad for some reason.

I said "Hey are you okay". She said "Yeah I'm fine". I knew she wasn't but I have to get out of their.

As I left their building and headed to Caitlin's apartment. I get my phone out and saw eight missed calls and text messages. I texted her back and went to the door.

I knocked on it and she opened. She looked relived and mad. She hugged me and slapped my arm. I said "I'm sorry Cait I had to deal with alone".

She said "No you didn't I care about you Y/n. You could've gone hurt or worse. I don't know what I do with myself if you got hurt or died". She was crying and my wolf was calling me stupid.

I hugged her and I said "I get it Cait I'm truly sorry". I looked at her for a two seconds but it felt like forever. I leaned in but she stopped me.

My wolf was whimpering and hurting inside. She said "We need to get to Star Labs". I nodded at her and left.

As we got their and she was working on something so I didn't disturbed her. I don't know why she didn't want to kiss me was it me. Does she not like like me anymore.

I went to the training area and a lot of things were going on my mind. I saw the images of my parents and I tripped.

Damn it not again. Ugh the one time someone was with me. I saw Nora I called out for her. She waved at me and walked towards her.

She said "Are you okay. What happened". I said "I'm fine I just got hurt that's all". She had this concern look. I said "It's fine Nora I just need to heal so what's with you".

She said "I don't know if I want to tell you because you probably would side with them". I said "Well try me". She said "Well I'm mad at my parents because dad sided with mom that it will be okay to suppress my powers. You know the funny thing mom never told me that I had powers".

She was about to cry but I hugged her. She hugged me back and I said "Hey it's okay I don't know why your mom did it or why she never told you but I do care about you". She smiled and I smiled at her.

I said "Hey let's get out of here plus we can do anything you want". She said "Yeah that would be schway". We left and got some food.

We talked and she would ramble on and I thought it was cute. She said "So what does mate mean". I said "How did you heard that from". She said "From my papa joe".

I said "Well it means soulmate but their is a chance that it can be more than one". She said "Do you have one". I said "Yeah but can you keep a secret". She nodded and I said "Well I have another one but Caitlin doesn't know or she does but chose to ignore it".

She said "Do you love Caitlin". I said "Of course if I didn't then I wouldn't stay but I do have my other mate that I miss a lot but she's probably having fun without me".

She said "Can you tell more about soulmates". I nodded at her and said "Well they can reject you and it feels like your heart is broken or someone hit you with a brick". She said "How do you know". I said "Well since I'm a wolf a person has scent that is calming and wonderful that's how you know".

She said "Does it work for a human". I said "I don't know I had friends who were superheroes and not wolves so I guess it would be complicated but when you fall in love it's peaceful and wonderful.

Plus my wolf would talk to me and say mate to me". She said "Is it talking to you". I shook my head but I said "When it does it can get annoying". W/n growled at me but I ignored her.

She said "I have another question". I said "Go for it". She said "Do you miss your superhero friends". I said "I do everyday but I can't change on what happened and if I didn't then I wouldn't meet Caitlin or Sara".

She said "Sara"? I said "Oh my other mate but anyways we should head back". She nodded and we went back.

The team looked worried and I coughed. They looked at us and I said "What's up guys". Barry said "We were worried about you guys". Nora said "Well we're here anyways it was fun hanging with you Y/n". She left and I stood there awkwardly.

I said "Anyways I'm going to train". Caitlin said "Nope your not we have to do that thing". They looked at us and I was confused.

I said "Oh right we should probably head out". She nodded and we waved goodbye to the team.

As we were leaving and I said "So what are we doing". She said "Don't know but why were you with Nora". I said "Well I like hanging with her". She was pouting and I think it was so adorable.

I said "Don't worry babe we went somewhere to eat and talked". She said "What did you talk about". I said "My old friends and how much I love you".

I was hugging her and it felt calming. I said "Anyways hungry". She nodded and I took her to a food place. I liked it and she liked it too.

I said "So babe anything on Cicada". She said "Nope but we know that he has lung problems". I nodded at her.

We finally went home and chilled. We watched a movie and she would cuddle and I freaking loved it so much until finally I slept.
