Chapter Forty-Six

—One week later—

Y/n POV

I looked outside and looked at the stars. As my daughter came here and stayed with us. Mostly in the living room. I'm happy that I have a daughter but I thought on why Skylar became a superhero.

Caitlin sleeping next to me. I looked at her and smiled. I quietly got out and went to the kitchen. I saw Skylar drinking coffee. I coughed and said "So um Skylar what's your future like".

She said "It's okay but besides having your other daughter and son". I said "So how come they didn't come". She said "Your son doesn't have powers or the wolf in him. Your daughter have powers like my other mom and she has the wolf in her.

So I thought Beatrice would protect Ryland". She sighed and I said "What about me". She shrugged and said "Your gone a lot so me and Beatrice do most of the job".

Until I heard "Well my daughter and Y/n cutie are up". I looked behind me and saw Caitlin. She kissed my check and I kissed her lip.

We got to work and basically they were explaining on how we need to give all the meta-human cure to the innocents. But also something else to stop Cicada.

I heard 'Brothers and sisters find her or die'. I heard a loud ringing in my ears and I couldn't stand it. I felt something inside me trying to claw her way out.

"That's me you idiot kill. Kill those gods". "NO". I touched my stomach and fell on the ground. The team were looking worried and I felt another pain to the side of my face.

I grabbed a chair and sat down. Skylar said "Was it Zallus"? I nodded and she ran away. Caitlin said "Maybe you can't do the mission".

I said "I will I just need to take a nap maybe". I left them and went somewhere else but I noticed that Nora was following me.

I said "Nora do the mission". She said "I know it's just how are you feeling". I said "I'm fine Nora". She left and I went to run.

As I was running and I felt someone or something coming or mostly sense them. Until I got punched in the jaw and one of the Zallus was holding me mostly pinning me.

I bit it's hand and it let me go. It screamed in pain and I went somewhere else. It was following me. I stopped and I was in dock area.

It was looking at me and I looked at it. It launched at me and I stepped out of the way. It scratched me a lot but I beat it pretty good.

Until it caught me and flinged me across the metal steel. I coughed up blood and couldn't breath. 'Your weak just like those gods'.

It grabbed my throat and I couldn't breath. I felt something breaking. I heard my bones breaking and saw the monster on the ground.

It wasn't breathing and I walked towards it and I saw the monster it's bones broken. It's intestines somewhere else.

I threw up and until I saw something sharp sticking outside in my stomach. I looked down and I turned down just a little bit and saw SKYLAR.

I dropped down and saw her laughing. What the hell is happening. I said "Skylar". She said "Oh hi mom it's nice to see my dagger in you".

I said "What the hell are you talking about. How COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME". She looked at me and said "Now now mom you got what you deserve".

My own daughter did this to me. She lifted her shirt and said "DO YOU SEE THIS. THE SCARS YOU DID TOO ME. YOU KILLED THEM BUT IN THE PROCESS YOU KILLED ME.

YOU BROKE ME MOTHER".

I did that to her? She pushed the dagger in and I felt everything go black.

—2 hours later—

I woke up and I felt pain everywhere. I ran and I felt someone's pain. I ran until I was in the CCPD building. I saw Cicada grabbing Ralph, Flash, and Frost with her powers.

I looked over and saw Cisco working on something. I growled "PUT THEM DOWN GRACE". She threw them but I ran up and Frost was knocked out.

Grace got up and I was fighting her. She had her weapons. But she kept bruising me with her knives. She said "WHY DON'T YOU DIE META".

I laughed and said "I can't die Grace". Until I saw a flash of lighting and I pushed her out of the way and I saw the same dagger pushed in my stomach.

I looked down and then at Cicada. She had her knives close to my throat. I said "Kill me already Grace. I don't deserve anything anymore". She was pushed aside and I saw Skylar.

Skylar said "Now now Grace I get to kill her". She turned into her wolf and picked me by the back. Until she turned back and everything was black.

—3 hours later—

I woke up and saw Skylar messing with her dagger. I growled and she said "Now now mom no growling. As you know I have friends here".

They stepped out and saw the same creatures. She smiled evilly and said "These are my friends. So be polite or die mom". She growled at them and they left.

I said "Now tell me why are you doing this". I couldn't escape because she had meta cuff on me. She said "I showed you the scars from you.

When we we're born we we're happy but everything changed when... well I can't get ahead of myself.

You turned evil and nobody could helped you. You killed your children except me well you did but I came back. That broke me but also broke me when...".

I heard something and she left. I looked around and saw Jess and she untied me. Jess said "What happened to you. Let's get those off".

She took the cuffs and we left. We we're in an random place. She said "Are you okay". I looked at her and I said "I'm fine". Jess said "I know when your not fine Y/n".

I said "Wait I need to find Skylar". Jess looked at me and grabbed my arm. Jess said "Tell me Y/n". I said.
