"Good morning star shine! The earth says hello!" I wrapped my arms around Maria ever so tightly. Using my most perky voice in the world.
"The earth says goodnight." She removes my arms glaring at me. "Who the fuck decided that three in the morning is the best time? We're rich eve heard of planes? Why must we ride in a charter bus?"
"You are not a morning person." I snicker warning another one of her glares.
Just our luck white flakes started to fall. It took a moment to process considering how dark it was. It is three in the morning.
"I'm gonna kill our history teacher." She huffs crossing her arms. "It's freaking snowing!"
"Maybe it's a phase... maybe it'll stop." I shrug and she glares again.
"GOOD MORNING CLASS." Mrs. Brice our history greets us from the first step in the bus. "We are forming groups of four. Don't bother I have the list of names so listen carefully..."
"Could she be anymore annoying? How loud does she have to breathe?" She spat. I slowly look at her as she rubs her hands together.
"You need a nap." I state and she rests her head on my shoulder.
"I really do, Zay." She cries to me.
"Group 4, Zaya, Marìa-"
"HALLELUJAH!" Maria's outburst earns a nasty look from Mrs. Brice.
"It is three in the morning." Mrs, Brice reminds Maria.
"And who's fault is that?"
My eyes widen and I lightly stomp on her foot.
"People are sleeping keep it down, Mrs. Garcia." Ignoring Maria's side comments she continues to read the list. "Zaya, Marìa, Luke and Rainer."
"Are you kidding me? Out of all the people in the world? Is this a joke?" Marìa spat again earning yet another nasty look.
I second that. Why is he in my group? Why can't I have a normal group!
"We'll be going around passing out tickets. The seats will be assigned. Except for you Marìa, you'll be next to me." With that said she walks into the fancy bus.
"Well isn't this just great." Marìa huffs as the boys slowly make there way here. Luke greets us with a smile while Rainer keeps his emotionless face like usual.
"I like what you did to your face." She loves to mock Rainer. Rainer looks a lot better than last night. When I woke up this morning was gone like he said.
"Have you looked in the mirror lately?" He hissed crossing his arms.
She opens her mouth to speak but I quickly cover it.
"She's not a morning person." I defend and glare at her. "Go sit next to your buddy." I smirk earning a slap on my arm.
After waiting for the class to pile in the bus I managed to be the last one. I handed my ticket to the driver and she rips off the piece.
I scan the left side and only Maria's not so pleasant face stands out.
"KILL ME NOW." She mouths to me.
I scan the right side and my heart stops once again.
