I need Jace

Kylie's POV-

I plop down next to Becca and tear open my lunchbox. "Ky, we really need to find a way for Jace to come and sit with us." Becca tells me. "Mhmm." I tell her as I chew my sandwich.

Becca can sometimes get so annoying. Like she talks about Jace way too much. Like he's mine, not hers! Can she just stop?

I spot Cole paying so, I duck down so he doesn't see me. "What in the world are you doing?" Becca asks me. "Hmm no, I'm not doing anything, just observing people's shoes under the table." I tell her. I don't really want her to know, but I really don't want Cole to sit with me.

I mean I really like Jace now and I really can't let Jace see me with Cole. I mean if Jace starts to like me back, I can't be with Cole. That's why I really need to figure out a way to break up with Cole. I mean I can't do it now, because Jace doesn't even like me yet. It will totally ruin my popularity if I'm not dating someone.

Suddenly I hear a tray being set beside me. "Hey Kylie!" Yep that's Cole's voice. I pretend like I don't hear him and keep eating my sandwich.

"Are you mad at me or something? I know you can hear me." Cole says. I turn to him only because I need us to stay together.

"Sorry just having a bad day." I make that up and tell him. "So we still going out Saturday?" He asks me. I totally forgot about that. I really didn't wanna go out with him but oh well. "Yeah sure." I say quietly to Jace. I really need to get Jace to like me so I don't have to date Cole anymore.
