We all know the story of the Emperor and the corrupt empire. Well, what is the emperor had an older brother who was too smart for his own good. Let us see where his journey takes us.

[3rd] In a world of corrupt leaders and people. Of murders and thieves. The were two brothers, the older named YN. And the younger no longer went by a name, he was just "The Emperor." The younger treated like a king, while the older treated like a floor mat. The younger had plenty of food and a warm bed, and the older had to fend for himself by sneaking into the kitchen at night. The younger brother had eventually been formed to forget he had a brother at all, while the older rememberers all to well. Once, the older brother had caught ear of the prime minister talking to some of the other high ranking people of the city. They talked of how easy it was to kill the boy's parents. After that day, YN planned on escaping.
[YN POV] {Timeskip, 3 years: Age-13} Okay, I've been planning this for a while now. I've got some food , clothes, water and a map of the forest. I just need to find a village. I was opening my window when I heard a scream. It came from the room to my left. I went and opened the door, to find a girl with messy blonde hair, looking as though it hasn't been taken care of for weeks, even months. She was shackled up and passed out. I saw a key on the wall and unlocked her shackles and picked her up bridal style, put my bag over my back and left.
{Outside the kingdom} After we were outside the kingdom, I found some ruins and went there for the night. I felt a strong magic presence so I hoped that would keep the beast away. When we got inside, I found a smaller room that was for some reason lightly furnished, but looked untouched for many years. I set the girl on the couch, as she was still asleep. I went to look around the temple for a bit, seeing a sword set in stone with red markings. I decided to let it be. "HELLLLP!" Was all I heard next, and I looked in the back of the room I was in to see a bandit holding the girls I saved earlier. "So what's it gonna be kiddo, you gonna leave here peacefully or by force. And I think I'll keep you little ready friend here." The bastard said with a perverted look on his face. I stood my ground, and he looked mad. I stepped back and bumped into the sword as he moved closer. I put my hands on it, hoping I could pull it. "Go ahead and try kiddo, I've tried plenty of times and had never pulled the blade. I focused on the blade and felt strength flow through my body, and pulled on the sword.
And to the bandit's surprise it came out without hassle. He rushed at me trying to take the sword, charging me with his own sword, but I blocked his strike with one of my own. I then pushed him down, went and grabbed the girl, picking her up bridal style, and ran out of the ruins. After running a couple miles, I was exhausted. We sat down next to a tree, and just rested. But we felt the droids shake, and then saw a huge B-Class danger beast. But before it could reach us, a man stepped in and stopped it.

"Stand back children, I'll keep you both safe." The man said as the girl hid behind me. His staff then glowed a bright light and the monster was gone with a cloud of smoke blowing in the wind. "You young man, you look like your father. The old king." "Yeah I know, and I also know that the Prime Minister Killed him and my mom. I want to get revenge." "You know, revenge won't make you feel better." "Not for me, but so my parents can rest easy. And so that other children like me won't have to suffer the loss. I don't want to take him down, but the entire empire." "Wise, Okay then I'll take you both to my home." "REALLY!?" Both myself and the girl said. "Yes, I will adopt you and treat you as you were my own." "Thank you so much!" We both said as we hugged the person we is now our father. "Oh, and my name is YN. What are y'all s?" The man was the first to speak up, "My name is Merlin." "Nero" was all the girl said but after the hug broke she got on my back and hugged me, "Will you carry me please?" "Yes I will Nero," was my response. And from that forth on, we were part of a new family.
