This is not WhatsApp convo. It's an incident which Nagulu mentioned in previous chat and the most memorable moment for Jai n Vennu.

Jai and Vennela went to their village for the festival. The villagers and family welcomed them grandly.

"Dad, what's all this?" Jai was embarrassed as usual

Deva raised his eyebrows

"I mean what's the need for these all?"

"People's love son. I won't involve between you and them" He hugged him

Jai's face brightened with a wide smile.

"I missed you dad"

"Missed you too son"

Vennu who was behind Jai smiled at Deva.

Deva parted from Jai and went to his daughter.

"How are you dear?" He asked holding her chin

She nodded with a smile and hugged him.

Nagulu hugged Jai and moved towards Vennu with bright smile.

"Hai Vennu"

Vennu closed her mouth and ran inside, followed by Jai

Everyone were concerned and worried for her.

Vennu's younger brother and their keeper Subbaiah laughed at Nagulu

"Dont feel bad that Amaigaru puked right after watching you" Subbaiah mocked at him

Nagulu gives him a look and goes in with other people.

"What happened dear?" Her mom asks her while Jai wipes her mouth with a towel and makes her drink water.

"Nothing, Amma. It must be some food poisoning" Vennu answers patting her worried mother's hand.

"How many times did I tell you? Not to eat all the junk" Her mom's worry was replaced with anger

"Abbaa Amma, I didn't eat any junk. Please stop before you start scolding me... Now I am married and you'll embarass me in front of my husband" she pouts making Jai giggle.

"Nagulu, go and bring the Doctor" Deva says

"No mavayya,. I'll be fine till night"she smiles at him

"Dad, she is very adamant. From morning I was fed up convincing her to consult a doctor. Infact, I even blackmailed her that unless she meets a doctor I'll not take her to village, even though she was not ready and I dropped our village plan too. But..." He stops

"But Akka's puppy face melted bava's little heart"her brother completed his Bava's statement making Jai blush and Vennu giggle.

Everyone laughed.

"Rey, you shut up and go play" His mom smacked his head.

"Jai, she is not adamant but scared" Vennu's aunt continued after sending her son away

"Scared of what?"

"When she was a baby, she never used to leave your dad and he also loved her than anything in this world. One day he gifted her a doctor's kit. She used to play daily with that"

Vennu held her mavayya tightly while her mom continued.

"She used to inject annaya with that toy syringe. One day someone replaced the toy with a real one. None of us noticed that and she normally injected him. Annaya screamed and we noticed it. Thank God she didn't inject him completely because it was filled with poison and annaya didn't wakeup for 2 days"

"From then, Vennu threw her kit and fear of injections started in her. She'll never visit doctors, if she is severely sick we used to call Ayurvedic doctors" Deva patted Vennu's head while telling.

"Vennu that was in your childhood, you or the injections are not  the reason for that mishap. The reason for that mishap has become our friends. Why are you letting that fear survive in you?" Jai says holding her hands

"Hmmm..." Vennu looks down and she faints

"Vennu... Vennu..." Jai holds her from falling

"Call the doctor immediately" Deva orders helping Jai in carrying Vennu

"Congrats!!!" Doctor shooks Jai's hands with excitement

"For what? My wife is lying unconscious there and you're congratulating me?"

"Because you're going to be dad"

"What?" Everyone are surprised

"Yeah!!True"

All the elders hugs each other congratulating themselves.

Jai rushes to Vennu and holds her face in his palms while she slowly opens her eyes.

"Thanks Darling!!" He kisses her forehead

She looks at him baffled

"Our love is getting a life" he says while touching her tummy

She stares into his eyes with tears rolling down her cheeks, he blinks away the happy tears formed in his eyes.

She hugs him tightly.

"We're Pregnant" both say together.

Everyone blesses them.

"Congrats Vennu" Nagulu moves forward, she smiles at him

"Congrats annaya"He hugs Jai

"Rey... How many times should I tell you? Call her vadina not Vennu. She is your brother's wife" Jai's babai smacks Nagulu's head

"It's ok babai. He is habituated to calling her Vennu from childhood, now suddenly he cannot call her vadina. Anyways Vennu and he are partners in crime, so it's ok even if he call her with name. He has right to call his friend as he likes" Jai puts his hand on Nagulu's shoulder and smiles at his babai.

"Thanks annaya." Jai smiles at him and goes back to his Vennu holding her and taking her to their room.
