The Vacation

Part 3

"I'll call you soon" I scream out to Ed when he drives the car. He just smiles and waves his hand and the car goes away. I walk to the house and sit beside uncle Ben. "I'm okay. You can back home anytime you want. Don't force yourself" he talks to me. "aw, I think I will enjoy spending the holiday here," I said. "your mom is an emphatic like usual" he laughs. I just give him a smile. "I'm serious. You can go out and explore the village. I'm sure you will get something new that you won't find it in the city" he said. "thanks uncle, umm I think I wanna look around" I ask permission. "sure if you need a guide, you can ask the boy lives in our backyard. I guess he is as old as you. He is my bestie's son " he explains. "aw, sounds great uncle"

 I walk out of the house and put on the boots that I wore last night. I walk to the side of the house and find a small weird old house which far enough to walk in especially for the muddy road. I look around and there are no other houses here. I get hesitate to walk toward that house. "I'm gonna drowned in the mud" it's also long enough to reach the house. I walk to the path and follow the streets. Suddenly my phone is ringing, it's Luke. "hi, you are still alive. I'm surprised" he said. "I'm grateful because I still have the signal. You don't know how's terrible this village. I'm just stepping five centimeters of mud". "so excited" he said. "kill me when I back". He laughs "tell me about the village". " the worst place that you could imagine, fog, mud, and cold". "you will survive," he said.  "yeah, and I'm already missed you." 

Suddenly a car passes the road and the mud spreads out of my body then the car stops ten feet in front of me. I scream out loud, "what's going on Carrie?" Luke shocked. I ignore my call and walk toward the car. I'm waiting for someone get out from the car to pay for it. An old man comes out the car and I get a little scared because he looks strange. Then followed by a boy walks beside him. "I'm really sorry I don't mean to do it," the old man said. I just silence. "I'm so sorry," he said again. I feel a little angry but after I see them I think it's a bad idea if I mad at them. "I'll be glad if you don't mind to come to my house to clean you up, there is our house" he points to the house next to Ben's house. He must be uncle Ben's bestie. I don't give him an answer and turn my eyes on the boy. He must be the boy that uncle Ben said. "let's get on the car miss" the old man offered. Well okay. then I realize that I still on the phone with luke. "oh I'm sorry" I said while I get in the backseat. "what's going on?" he asked. "I'm okay I'll text you later, see you".
