Karma

Bakugo peers around the corner and the sight almost caused him to throw up, Deku was holding the gun. Three students, now down to two...blood on his face and he's...he's laughing.

Todoroki keeps his voice low, a whisper, "Shit..."

Kirishima, "We. We need to get out of here."

They all avert their eyes except Bakugo, who watches it all.

The second runs and turns his head, locking eyes with Bakugo. It felt like he was staring into his soul as the bullet hits his neck and he falls, his eyes still resting on Bakugo until they drift shut.

Bakugo watches without expression or emotion. The class all turn away sick to their stomachs except Todoroki who attempts to peer around the corner and see what was happening.

As he looks, Deku shoots the final student, Todoroki quickly rears back and they all freeze as they hear them talking and praising Deku.

They stay dead still as they see him. The blood-soaked boy with bandages on his arms and a smile from ear to ear. He reaches the dead boy and they watch his face light up as he gets closer and crouches down by the corpse. They watch in horror as he soaks his hands in the blood.

He looks at the blood smiling, "My hands are stained with their blood too now..."  and walks away.

Denki releases a breath he was sub-consciously holding, "Guys. We should call the police. And get the hell out of here."

They all wait then they hear them all walking over, they all hide in a crook in the wall. A soon as the villains pass they sneak around the corner where the bodies are, trying to hide from plain sight.

Bakugo hears gravel crunch lightly beneath his foot as he turns the corner last, he swallows hard and waits.

"Who's there?"

"What do you mean Deku? There's no one there silly!"

"Who's there?"

"Deku?"

"I said. WHO'S THERE?"

They all stop as Dabi and Toga watch Deku confused.

Toga, "Deku? There's no one there? Who are you talking to?"

Dabi, "Come on kid let's go."

"No. I. I heard someone. It's not voices. It was a footstep. I heard it."

"Deku. We gotta go before someone sees us."

"Who's there? I'm not leaving."

Toga, "Deku? What do you mean?"

Deku turns around and signals for Dabi to sneak around one side. He idly complies and lightly treads along on the gravel.

The class hold their breath hoping they'll just leave.

Denki looks at his phone and sighs quietly in relief, he shows the class as they all ease off some tension, he text Aizawa about what was happening.

Deku smirks knowing Dabi should be in position by now. He was sure they were there.

He suddenly runs out in front of the class surprising them, they all back up a bit as Deku freezes, Bakugo doesn't move as he stands firm facing Deku.

Deku, "Kacchan."

Bakuguo, "Deku."

Deku laughs loudly as the class stop backing up realising Dabi's behind them waiting and Toga walks over next to Deku.
