Then she came across a video that must have been recorded on accident.

The green-haired woman looks at the camera lens before placing it on the counter and plugging it in to charge, Uraraka skipped a bit as it simply showed her going about her day cleaning and reading and other simple things. She slowed the video as she sees the woman turn around looking pale, "Zuki...what happened?"

At that moment Uraraka's entire being froze, the villain that lay asleep on the sofa stepped into view..."I'm fine."

"No, no you're not...Look at yourself... Zuki you're bleeding!"

"Mom, I'm fine!"

"Don't raise your voice to me! I'm just trying to help! "

"Well, I don't need your help! I'm not a baby!"

"Izuku. Sit down, right now."

"I told you, I don't need your help or anyone else's!"

"Who did this?"

"What?"

"I said who did this, Izuku."

"...No one, I tripped."

"DON'T LI- Don't lie to me. Who did this, I'll go talk to their parents and the school and we ca-"

"Don't you get it, Mom! That'll just make it worse! If they find out I cried home to my 'Mommy' then it will just. Get. Worse. Just leave it alone!"

"Who is they! Izuku I just want to help!"

"I'm going to my room."

"Izuku!"

He slammed his door and disappeared as his mother returned to her seat at the dining table and quietly sobbed to herself, after a while, she looked up and saw the camera. She walked over drying her eyes and turned it off.

"That's the last time I talked to my mom..."

Uraraka looked up surprised to see the boy leaning against the door frame idly with his arms crossed. She wiped a solitary tear from her cheek and smiled, "She seems nice."

"She was..." his voice was low and gravely, calm and gentle.

"Was?"

"She passed the next day, they told me in school. Just before the incident."

"Do you miss her?"

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't."

Uraraka slowly got up as he rubbed her teary eyes, "Was this your room?"

"Yeah...I used to love heroes."

"Why don't you like them anymore?"

"If they let people like Kacchan become heroes then I hate heroes."

"I-I think he's ch-changed..."

"Of course you do."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Deceit, didn't you see how he reacted when he saw me? Couldn't even restrain himself enough to not get a final kick in."

"Does it still hurt?"

"Not really, the cuts from jumping through a window are distracting from it."

"A-Are you okay?..." Wait? What am I saying, this is a villain!

He smirks before walking away, Uraraka followed close behind as he sat down on the sofa again. It was then she noticed the pattern of red laced into the grey material of the sofa surrounding him.

He was still bleeding and didn't do anything?

Uraraka sat down on the other side of the sofa pretending not to be concerned, she becomes extremely confused when he switches onto a recorded news broadcast from years ago. He clicks on it and places down the remote resting his head on the sofa's arm.

Uraraka watched almost breaking into tears, a recording of Allmight rescuing hundreds of people. He'd watched it hundreds of times.

Uraraka was starting to see a different side of the murderous child, he could be gentle, he was just...damaged.

After a while he switched it off and looked at the time, 12:00, it was midnight.

He stood up and straightened his clothes, he hears a light knock at the door. Uraraka tenses up as he slowly opens the door. He's suddenly tackled to the ground out of nowhere as Uraraka jumps up stumbling away for safety.

"Hey! Toga! I've got cuts that hurts!"

"Karma! Don't scare me like that again! I thought you were gonna put a bullet in your brain!"

She emphasises her point by making a gun sign with her hand and 'shooting herself.'

Izuku slowly got to his feet as Toga smiled widely, "Ooooh, Who's your friend?"

"Uraraka, she's a UA student."

"Huuh! Can I keep her! I want her to be as striped as your arms."

He defensively pulls back his arm, "No, you can't."

"Awww...why not?"

"Because...The heroes called and they said they know where she is. It's part of her quirk. She can signal her location to others but it takes a while. We can't bring her with us, I say just leave her here."

"Fine...Let's go! We need to get you a few thousand drinks! Bye Uraraka-san!"

They leave as Izuku spares her a final glance, she mouths the words, 'thank you' before he disappeared entirely.
