Lawfully Wedded || JIKOOK

Prologue

(Tissues please! 🤧)

"Do you take, Park Jimin, to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

He wants to shout "No! I don't" but ends up nodding.

"Then repeat after me" the minister kindly smiles at him.

"I take thee, Park Jimin as my lawfully wedded husband,"

He repeats with a bitter tone, clearly noticeable for the man standing beside him.

"to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, until death to apart us."

Jungkook repeats....

The minister turns to the shorter male with a smile "Do you take, Jeon Jungkook, as your lawfully wedded husband?"

He nods looking at his feet...

"Then repeat after me"

"I take thee, Jeon Jungkook as my lawfully wedded husband"

"I take thee, Kim Minsoo-"

Jungkook squint his head as fast as he could towards the shorter male, his would be, the one he forcefully getting married to.

Jimin realise what he just said. He closes his eyes, a tear escapes and rolls down his cheeks.

Everyone at the alter goes numb at the scene, there was an awkward silence surrounding the families and their friends.

Jimin, who had practiced the marriage vow, a million times in his 28 years of his life for one and only person and couldn't replace his name even now, even after 7 years. The name still perfectly fits the space between 'I take thee,' and 'lawfully wedded husband'

Jungkook, on the other hand, wants punch a hole on the wall and kill everyone including his parents and friends who forced him to get married to a man, who says another man's name at the alter.

"I am sorry, ca- can we do it again?" Jimin lifts his head and bows to the audience and to the man standing right next to him. There was a sad smile plastered on everyone who knew the man named 'Kim Minsoo'.

"Yes my dear!" the minister says without judging him. "I take thee, Jeon Jungkook"

Jungkook closes his tightly inhaling heavily and tries to concentrate on anything else than this stupid, meaningless marriage.

The minister's voice muffles inside his head and he ignores whatever Jimin says. He just wants to escape this hell hole, which is friends and his parents thought would be the right decision for him.

He can't be married to someone, who he doesn't love.

He can never love Park Jimin.

(So how can I not write a Jikook fic when I practically breath, talk, sleep, eat, shower Jikook? Right?
