How did you crawl into this tiny little life of mine?
~Are we ready~
"Finally! After avoiding for how long, only god knows, you decided to come back home?" the hint of sarcasm clearly lingering in the old man's voice. He opens the door fully to let in, the man standing at the door, who smiles softly at him before walking past him to the living room.
"oh ho! who we have here this earl-" A soft voice gets off as she comes running down stairs into the living room and the moment she sees him standing there, helplessly awkward in his own house.
Jimin averts his eyes towards the female who is now walking towards him. The tears of happiness whelming in the corner of her eyes as a soft motherly smile tugs at her lips. It feels like he was away from her for eternity. He smiles at her as he opens his arms widely, ready engulf her his warmth but she slaps his hands away making him pout his full bottom lips.
The softness in her face before has now turned into monster look. She narrows her eyes at him "Well! Well! Who is this?" She asks teasingly, as her eyes now leave the man standing in front of her and averts to her husband, who joins them in the living.
"I don't know, why don't we ask him only?" Mr. Park suggests point his head towards him, back his hands clapped together at the back as he smiles at his son.
"Not before he says, he is sorry!" Mrs.park says and turns around to the leave the boy little disappointed but before she could completely exit the living room, she gets engulfed in his familiar warmth as he mumbles "I am sorry ma! I really am."
It's been almost six months now, Jimin hasn't come home to his mom,not even a proper phone conversation between them, Of course she would be this fierce on her only son treating her like some stranger. Jimin didn't had intention to avoid his parents. I mean he still talks to his dad and went on a blind date, he had set up for him. But when it comes to his mother, he really wasn't giving her the time she needs from her. Lets just his life got busy with his profession as dancer and the haunting past that still alive in his mind, heart and soul. Ofcourse she had been talking to Taehyung to know Jimin's whereabouts but its not the same as to know that directly from Jimin himself.
It hurts his everything, seeing his mom react to him like this. He just couldn't hold the sob that's leaving his lips "I a- am sorry" *hiccups* "M-ma" *hiccups*. That's all it takes a mother's heart to forgive the faults done by her children. Especially, when the word ma leaves Jimin's mouth reminding her of his two year old self trying to speak the word Eomma but ends up saying ma. It kinda ached her at the same time a warmth fill her heart when he calls her ma instead of eomma. Jimin was the last one to speak within his age group. Even Taehyung started speaking, though he was younger.
But now him calling her ma totally melted her heart as she turns to bury her face on his chest, not before punching him, for making her wait this long. Her punches were weak, soft and showed how much she missed her only son for this long, making him smile through tears as he warps his arms around fragile figure and hugs her tightly.
"I missed you too!" he says with a deep sigh.
"Welcome back Jimin!" Mr.Park pats his shoulder in assurance and wipes his tears that's brimming at the corner of his eyes.
Mrs. Park parts away from Jimin and kisses his forehead.
"Sana prepare the lunch! He's staying." Sungmin announces and let them two be before heading towards his study room. Jimin nods at her as an answer to her asked question that he is staying today at their place, as it was Saturday and tomorrow they have their family dinner with Jungkook's family.
