It's the middle of the night, and I am wide awake, searching online for landscapers and builders. I hope I can get a good deal, but really I should sleep.
After another 30 minutes, I find a builder, but since it'll take a while to get everything built, the landscaper can wait. You can't plant anything until the buildings are done, I think as I get ready for bed.
The next afternoon, I get in the shower before I get ready to go to the laundromat. It's hot outside, so once I've dried off, I put on a vest top with "Love" written across the front in pink letters and a pair of shorts.
After I brush my hair, I gather all the dirty laundry to take with me to be be washed and load it into my car. I go back inside, quickly making sure I have everything, and lock the door behind me.
I arrive at the laundromat, carrying the laundry inside where Kay and Koko are behind the desk.
The both smile at me, as I set the basket on the desk. "I got our clothes," I say.
"Thanks, Fifi. I forgot to message you. We've been pretty busy today," Kay says.
"It's fine. Really?" I ask, in regards to how busy they've been.
Koko nods. "The back is nearly full of orders."
Fucking hell, I think, then offer to help, but they decline. They explain they just need time and more machines more than anything.
I nod and say my goodbyes, telling them I'm going to pick out a few new machines for the back room.
I end up getting three washers and three dryers and are told they'll be delivered within a couple days.
Happy that we'll be able to get orders done faster, I head home. I have another essay to do, but I can't complain. The faster I get through school, the faster I can become a vet.
