Crash

Lance POV
I was driving down a familiar gravel road, my destination was my boyfriends it just took a long time to get there. I was only five minutes away when my phone started ringing I quickly grabbed it and answered.
"Lance are you almost here?"
Is the first thing that I hear on the phone.
"Well... I'll be there in three minutes."
I could hear a relieved sigh from the other line, I could tell he was nervous sometimes Keith gets like that.
"Ok see you in a bit. Love you."
And with that he hung so I drove the rest of the way in silence.
Keith's POV
Once I saw lances car drive up my driveway I got my jacket and ran out the door. He had just gotten out of the car when I ran to him and jumped into his arms. He dropped his keys and caught me hugging me in the process.
"There's my beautiful boyfriend!"
I laughed and hugged him tighter, I hardly got to see him with me living in the country and him being a firefighter and always being busy so when he had time off he would come here so we could hangout.
"And there's my beautiful boyfriend."
I added because every time I see him I'm always amazed by how beautiful he is. He laughed even louder when I said that. Putting me down he said.
"So where do you want to go? Or do you want to go to our spot to see the stars?"
"Let's go see the stars tonight,"
He nodded and picked up the keys then got into the car.
Lance's POV
Once we got settled into the car I started it and I pulled out of the driveway and went further down the gravel road to our spot. Everything was good until I got a phone call, it was still in the back seat.
"Keith can you reach the phone in the back?" He turned and tried to reach it, once he did he handed it to me and I answered.
"Lance where are you we need your help with an emergency!!" I groaned.
"Steve I'm a hour away. I'm not going to get there plus this is my day off." I could hear him sigh.
"But Lance we need you!"
Keith's POV
I could tell by the way he looked that he got a call from work. He's a firefighter so he is usually at work so the rare time we get together we always hang at my place. He was also getting angry.
"I'm not coming! Ok! Goodbye!" He ended the call then threw the phone in the back. He then looked at me with a smile on his face.
"Everything ok?" He smiled and nodded then leaned in to kiss me. He was still driving but right now all that mattered was us. Every time we kiss I still feel butterflies in my stomach. I brought my hand up to his face and caressed his cheek. I then looked up to look out the front window I saw car headlights heading towards us and it was going fast. I only had time to say one thing.
"LANCE!!" He looked up the swerved the car to the side in panic but I could see he did it on purpose. He did so he would get the bulk of the hit. The last thing I saw was him smile and mouth.
" I love you."
Then everything went black.
