"are you really leaving?" anastasia said quietly on the phone. it was the next day and that meant michael was going on tour with the rest of his bandmates.

"yeah, i guess i am," michael mumbled. he didn't want to go, but at the same time, this tour was open doors for him and the band.

he didn't want to be busy. he wanted to talk to anastasia.

"but hey, look, we can text all the time. ill tell you all those jokes i have. i still have like a million of them! anastasia, we can make this work. even if that'll mean ill be gone forever. nothings going stop us, right?" michael hoped 'stasia would agree. he really really, really liked her. they both just seemed to click.

"right." anastasia muttered, a frown still etched on her face.

"you looked really beautiful yesterday." michael said, whispering into the phone.

anastasia blushed, "thank you, mikey."

"you figured out my nickname?" he smiled.

"yeah," anastasia fiddled with her fingers. was this how it would be? talking to michael on the phone all the time until he came back? did she really have to wait 4 months?

"it sounds good when you say it." michael heard one of the boys yelling his name, which was cue for him to leave.

"thanks, again,"

michael frowned, "i have to go."

"oh," 'stasia said, disappointingly. "bye then."

"ill talk to you later, okay? have a good day, anastasia." michael ended the call.

anastasia wanted to spend just a few more days with him. she knew she shouldn't be acting this way but she did. she missed michael... she really did.

a few seconds later, anastasia's phone rung.

it was a text from michael.

she smiled to herself. he kept his promise, she thought.

'hey'

'hi'

'what do cops eat for dessert?'

'what?'

'copcakes.'

anastasia giggled. she couldn't help but feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

'😂😂'

'i miss you'

'stop acting like we're in high school'

'thats because we are'

'i miss you too.'
