Prologue

Y/n was at a club enjoying himself sipping on a strawberry sunrise he flirted with a few girls and guys but lately he's been feeling empty inside

Y/n: man I put my application into beacon but no reply

Y/n paid for his drink and left he then walk the streets of vale looking at the different shops and chew some bubble gum he stopped at his apartment door

Y/n: *walks in* home sweet home

He kicked off his boots and plopped on the couch then he looked at his family photo

Y/n: hope you three are watching over me where ever you are now

Y/n slowly closed his eyes for a few moments then he heard a knock on his door he got up and walked over to the door and opened it

???: hello young man are you y/n l/n

Y/n: yes and you are

???: I'm professor ozpin

Y/n let him in and sat at the table with him y/n tapped his foot impatiently wondering why ozpin was here in his house

Ozpin: so you want to join beacon why's that

Y/n: well I want to be a huntsman since I was little and I'd get a thrill from it *looks at the photo* look I want to continue my dad's legacy

Ozpin: is that so you want to be like your father

Y/n: yeah I do

Ozpin: you'd be a late entry but I think you'd be a nice fit into beacon may I ask you one more thing

Y/n: shoot

Ozpin: why don't you use your semblance

Y/n fell quite before speaking up

Y/n: my semblance is something very dangerous if I use it I'd hurt the others around me

Y/n: of my father and mother my father was able to boost his strength while my mom was able to store her power and let it build up before releasing it and because of that my semblance is extremely dangerous it's more of a curse than a blessing

Ozpin: ... I see well welcome to beacon

Ozpin got up and closed the door behind him while y/n sat on the chair looking down smiling

Y/n: I did it don't worry guys I'll be fine the adventure is only beginning
