Percy Jackson: Capture the Flag and Spiders Oh My

Retired Demigods

At Camp Jupiter in the villa part of the camp where retired Demigods live Percy and Annabeth are enjoying their child's play time.
"Hey, Seaweedbrain," Annabeth says.
"Yes, Wisegirl??" Percy says.
"Remember the first time we played capture the flag together??"
"Of course I do," Percy says. "I was in the Hermes Cabin."
"Dad, please tell me about it," Natalia begs.
"Okay," Percy says. "It all started back in Camp-Halfblood- that's the Greek demigod camp-
I didn't know who my godly parent was, so I was stuck in Hermes Cabin because that's where Unknown Demigods went. That same day was a Friday, so that meant to capture the flag. The Athena cabin held one of the flags, and the Ares cabin held the other. It was pretty usual for the Athena and Ares cabins to have the flags...

Here I am by the creek guarding it, though there wasn't much to guard. Everyone else was in the trees, except me. Five children of Ares came my way. I was really wanting to summon something from the water as I did with the bathroom earlier. the Ares kids are the meanest, worst, and most ugly kids in all of Long Island, or maybe the planet. When Ugly number one came up to me I rammed him in the head with my shield. Number two came to help number one. number two's sword went flying. When ugly number three and four tried to attack me I knew I was toast. They held me in place and Clarisse shoved her lightning spear into my breastplate. I felt my sword arm go numb. Ugly number three or four made a big cut in my arm.
"No maiming," I said.
"Oops," he said. "Guess I lose my desert privilege for a week."
Clarisse thrust her spear into another spot in my breastplate and I went into the water. I felt energy coursing through my veins and my gut twisted. The water slammed into Clarisse and trusted her backward. I was so happy I did that. I heard cheers coming from behind me. I looked behind myself to see Luke running over the creek and into friendly territory. Every one cheered. They picked Luke up and rested him on their shoulders. The Red flag with the boar's head, spear, and shield changed into silver with caucuses. The symbol of Hermes.
A low growl was heard. A big dog that was the size of a Rhino lunged at me.
its claws ripped through my breastplate. After what seemed like forever I looked up to see the dog's neck was full of arrows. I was saved, but my chest felt warm and wet.
"This is the end for me," I thought.
Annabeth took off her Yankees baseball cap and looked at me.
she shoved me into the water and my bloody chest instantly healed. I stood up and glared at her.
"Your plan was to get me killed?!?" I yelled. 

I also told her to "go to the crows" in Greek.
she frowned at me and then looked above my head.
I looked up only to see it fading.
A green hologram with a three tipped spear: a trident.
"No, I thought Zeus, but this is worse!!" Annabeth cried.
Everyone bowed to me. Chiron looked up.
"You are the son of the Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Percy Jackson, son of Posiden.
-the flashback fades back to Percy and Annabeth's house in Camp Jupiter-
"That is the day I found out I'm the son of Posiden and won my first capture the flag game," Percy says.
"That was an awesome story dad," Natalia says. "Will I be joining Camp Halfblood, or the Legion??"
"You're joining the Legion, even though I don't want you to," Annabeth says.
"Why is that??" Natalia asks.
"Your mother is a true Greek at heart and hates the Romans," Percy says. "She loves it here, even though she won't admit it."
"I do not!!!" Annabeth yells. "I'm just surviving."
"Mom, if you were only surviving you wouldn't have a house like this one," Natalia says. "Who's my Godly parent??"
"Either Athena or Posiden," Annabeth says.
"But since Romans don't believe Athena should have children you'll likely be a daughter of Neptune or Posiden," Percy says.
"Sounds killer awesome," Natalia says. "Hey, look at that spider." 

S-spider??" Annabeth says.

"Yeah, it's all cool looking," Natalia says.

"Percy, save me!!!!!" Annabeth cried before climbing the rock wall.
Percy gets up and squishes the spider.
"No more spider." Percy says.
"Y-you sure??" Annabeth asks in fear.
"1,000,000 percent positive." Percy says.
Annabeth climbs down and sits down in her chair.
"I hate spiders!!!" Annabeth says. "Damn you to the underworld with your queen."
"Dad, why is mom scared of spiders??" Natalia asks.
Percy sighs.
"Bad blood between A woman named Aracena and Athena," Percy says. "This woman said she can weave better than Athena, so Athena turned her into a giant spider, and since then all of Athena's children are deathly afraid of spiders."

"Oh okay," Natalia says. "Since I wasn't scared of it does that mean I'm a child of Neptune??"
"Yes, it does," Annabeth says.
