It was a sunny day. No cloud cover at all. Needless to say, Domino and I were rather sweaty. We'd been walking around the Star Wars themed amusement park for several hours. We'd been on rides, and didn't have to wait long, thanks to X-press EZ passes I'd bought. We'd flown our X-Wings down the throat of the Death Star, we'd battled AT-AT vehicles on Hoth, and engaged in a fierce firefight on Endor. It was actually laser tag, with park visitors choosing Imperial or Rebel sides. We'd been through the virtual reality pod where we'd had a lightsaber battle with Darth Vader, and with lots more to go, and several bags of souvenirs, we went back to the hotel for lunch, rest, and to hunker away from the sun.
Room service brought the lunch in, and set it up. I had ordered while Domino took a shower. As he came out, I noticed his normally pale skin was tinted a bit pink.
"Did you use hot water?"
"Not much. I noticed my skin turning pink as I was undressing."
Mentally, I slapped myself. How could I have forgotten sunblock? I suppose they had it, either in the hotel, or at the park. We'd apply some before going back. With a bit of a Latino heritage in my background, I never wore sunblock unless I went shirtless. My arms and legs would go brown, but my chest and back would burn if unprotected. I had no idea how Nekos would react to the sun.
I showered as well, inviting Domino in with me. Though it was nice to be naked with him, the shower was unpleasant. I used cold water for the majority of it so it would cool us down. After toweling dry, we sat for lunch.
Having walked what seemed like endless miles that morning, we sat on the couch and watched some tv. After a while, I got up and dressed.
"I'm just going to the hotel gift shop. I'll be back in a few minutes."
"S'okay," mumbles Domino, half asleep from the events of the day. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed a room key card.
On the elevator down, I yawned. I was wiped as well. Maybe we'd spent the rest of the day indoors. Browsing the gift shop, I found sunblock and bottles of Aloe Vera. It would have to do. I paid for the items and got back to the room.
Domino was laying face down on the bed, not wearing anything. I admired his slender figure, and smiled at the curve of his butt. I gently touched his arms. There wasn't any response. Aloe Vera was good for skin that had been kissed by the sun. Well, I thought it was. So, without a sound, I poured some on my hands and rubbed them together to warm it. Soon, I was rubbing it into his shoulders and arms.
When I finished, I hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door and turned on the air conditioning. I stripped and went to lay down next to Domino. He curled up next to me. I held him close and closed my eyes. I didn't know what would happen for the rest of our vacation, but I was glad it would happen with my little Neko boy.
Author's Note: Yeah, sorry for the lack of updates and for a short one. Life has been busy. Plus, I've developed carpel tunnel in my wrists so it's not as easy to write as it has been. I'm sorry to keep you waiting. I'll try and update more often. I hope you have an amazing day!
