Over the next few days, it began to snow a lot more, to which Gabriel was really excited about.
"Sam!" Gabriel yelled.
He launched himself out the bunker door and ended up tripping over himself and falling face first into around six inches of snow.
Sam couldn't help but laugh, and moments later, Jack followed suit.
"What are you doing?" Dean scoffed, a tinge of annoyance in his voice.
Gabe got up and was now brushing off the snow on his clothes, and Jack popped his head up from the ground.
"I don't know, but it looked fun." Jack replied.
"And was it?" Dean asked.
Jack nodded, his face was a little red from the cold now, but his eyes were bright and full of happiness.
"You're gonna catch a cold." Dean said.
"Aw, come on, Dean-o." Gabe argued. "Let him have some fun."
Dean rolled his eyes and took a sip of his coffee. "Alright. Don't trail snow back inside."
"What's with you today?" Sam asked.
"I don't-- I'm not gonna let Jack catch a cold... We'll all catch a cold."
"You really have gone full dad mode, haven't you?"
"No! I... Just kinda... Yeah, okay, whatever."
"Now all you gotta do is get together with Cas and you'll really be his dad."
Dean blushed furiously and scowled. "Bitch."
"Jerk."
He went down the stairs and off to the kitchen to get some more coffee, leaving Sam contently watching Gabriel and Jack.
Despite them both having powers and not actually getting cold, they were still bundled up. Jack still had little grace, but it was slowly returning. Of course, Dean was the one who insisted Jack at least wear a jacket.
They ran all around the space in front of the bunker, and had plenty of room since Dean had taken the Impala into the garage, he refused to let it be at all damaged by the snow.
"Sam! Come join us!" Jack said.
"I don't know..." Sam replied unsurely.
"Come on!" Gabriel whined. "Don't tell me a moose is scared of a little snow?"
"Is that a challenge?" Sam said, smirking.
"Get over here and find out!" Gabe said.
Sam rolled his eyes and sighed, giving in to Gabe's begging.
He walked out the door and into the winter morning, he was only bundled up with a jacket, but didn't mind.
The second he opened his mouth to say something, a snowball hit him square in the jaw.
He blinked a few times in surprise, and heard Gabriel cackling like the little shit he is. Jack was also laughing, but not as hard. That's when another snowball hit him in the head.
"Jack!" Gabe said in a sarcastically shocked voice. "You've thrown snow into his hair! You're gonna pay for messing up his majestic moose mane."
Gabriel almost jumped when another snowball smacked Jack in the face.
"Yeah, you are!" Sam laughed.
Gabriel then got hit with a snowball.
"How are you making those so fast?" Gabe shouted.
