ERENS POV.

Some people say high school is going to be the best years of your life... I beg to differ. it's not like high school musical or the breakfast club. it's not run by a directer , and you don't follow the script. It's real life situations.

You make one big mistake and your picked on for the rest if your life.

I can thank Sasha Braus for that. I told her I was openly gay and she goes and tells the whole football team. she's one of the cheer leaders so that's how the word got out... girls like to gossip stupid shit.

Anyways enough with that...

~present day~

"Eren, honey? are you awake yet?" I heard my mom call me from the other room. "yeah"

She opened the door and smiled.

"Its time to get up".

Oh yeah,school.

"Ok I'll be up in like 5 minutes ok?"

"Ok I just don't want you to be late on the first day" she had a sympathetic look on her face.

"Mom, maybe high school won't be like middle school" her smile faded

"I hope your right"

She then closed the door. what's her deal? Why is she scared? rubbing my eyes,I got up.

I moved to my dresser and pulled out a black buttoned up t-shirt and bright blue skinny jeans from American eagle. I put my black dress shoes on and went downstairs to see mikasa. I don't see why she doesn't wear dresses and curls her hair. she's such a pretty girl. she just doesn't like all that girly stuff.

She wore a black sweat shirt that said puma on the front and skinny jeans with brown boots that came to the top of her shins.

"Eren set the table please"

"Ok" I sighed and got out breakfast bowls and 4 spoons. my dad eats with us before he goes to work.

But he's always a jerk when it comes to me sitting next to him.

I sat in my chair and played with my spoon and banging it against my bowl signaling that I was hungry.

My mom threw a cereal box at me and I jumped not paying attention. she covered her mouth as her and mikasa laughed. I chuckled a bit before we all heard a door slam.

My mom rolled her eyes as my father sat down. He took the news paper and started to read it, not even shooting a glance at anyone.

"Karla where's my coffee?" he said NOT taking his eyes off the paper. mom poured his coffee and sat down as we all ate in silence. But I broke it.

"So... Mikasa and I have some classes together this year!"

my mom looked up and smiled "thats wonderful dear! Mikasa knows to take care of you right?" my mom smiled at mikasa.

"Shouldn't you two be at school?" my dad said STILL not taking his eyes off the news paper.

"Oh yeah, right sorry guess we should be leaving."

I got up and picked up my book bag and so did mikasa.

"Good bye mikasa" my dad said looking up at her.

"Goodbye." mikasa said weakly. I looked at him and he said nothing while again reading the news paper.

"Grisha" my mom growled as he looked up again.

"Bye eren" he said looking down again.

I said nothing and started walking towards the door.

"Good bye you two have fun" my mom said not taking her eyes off of my dad. Mikasa and I walked out but she pulled my arm which sentenced me to stop.

"Eren" she said as she leaned against the door.

I usually don't like to ease drop but this time was an excuse. I leaned against the door.

"Why do you have to be such a jerk Grisha!." she said with her voice cracking a little.

"Karla I don't want to talk abo-" he was cut off.

"WHY CANT YOU ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HE-" she was cut off.

"Don't cut me off when I was trying to answer your question." my dad growled.

"Now it's not the fact that he's gay. It's just that I don't feel comfortable walking into my Sons room one day and see him giving a blow job. I love him Karla... just not in that way."

With that we heard something slam and I immediately walked away from the door.

"Eren."

"No, I'm fine. just need to walk alittle..."

I felt myself just die inside...
