Jungkook sat on the floor, looking up at Namjoon as he got himself dressed for the night. The two-year-old had one of his father's ties draped over his shoulders and he was attempting to mimic Namjoon as the older male tied his own. After checking himself over in the mirror, Namjoon looked down to see Jungkook in full concentration, his little tongue poking out as he tried to tie a knot in the tie. Eventually, he just twisted the two ends around each other, letting out a delighted shout when they stayed put. "I did it, Appa!"

"You did do it!" Namjoon praised him, picking him up and propping him on his hip. "Let's go show Daddy what a big boy you are~" He carried Jungkook into the kitchen where Jin was. "Look what Kookie learned to do-" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he saw Jin at the stove, a couple of pots in front of him. "Why are you cooking dinner? I thought we were about to go out."

Jin didn't turn around as he answered Namjoon. "Jimin will probably be a little tired and hungry after working on his project so I don't want to make him have to provide dinner for himself and Jungkook, so I thought I'd already have some made for when he gets here." After giving the pot with meat in it one more stir, he finally turned around, face brightening at the sight of his son. "Kookie, are you wearing Appa's tie?"

Jungkook proudly displayed the twisted tie. "Did it myself!" He announced, holding his arms out for Jin to take him.

"You did such a good job, too!" Jungkook giggled as Jin pressed small kisses to his face.

The doorbell rang, and Namjoon offered to go get it. "Oh, hey Jimin, you're a little earlier than we'd expected." Namjoon stepped aside to let the younger male in.

"Yeah, we finished a little early." Jimin explained, taking his coat off as Jungkook ran into the room after hearing his babysitter's voice. "Jungkookie~" Jimin immediately crouched down and opened his arms, welcoming the two-year-old that barreled into him.

After nuzzling his face in the older male's chest, Jungkook looked up at him with a huge smile. "Hi, Minnie!"

"What are we gonna do tonight?"

"Play my kitchen!" Jungkook was referring to the kitchen playset his fathers had gotten for him for Christmas just a few months prior. He fell in love with it the second he opened it, ignoring the rest of the unopened presents in order to immediately put on his chef hat and start 'cooking'. He could spend hours asking Jimin 'what order you want' and pretending to make him that food, and he had done so on multiple occasions.

Jimin held back a groan. As much as he loved the toddler, he was quite tired of telling Jungkook different foods for him to pretend to make. "Kitchen it is, I guess~"

Jin exited the kitchen at that moment. "Okay, I already got dinner made for you two, it's sloppy joes and butter noodles. I also set out some corn and apple slices. Jungkook's been really picky when it comes to fruits and veggies lately, so please make sure he eats some."

Jimin nodded at the man who was now putting his coat on to leave. "I got it, you two have fun~"

The couple kissed Jungkook on the head and bid the two goodbye before leaving the house for date night.

"I'll have the broiled bluefish~" Jin ordered, handing his menu to the waiter.

"And I'll have the braised beef with noodles." Namjoon thanked the waiter as he walked off before grabbing the bottle of red wine and topping off Jin's glass.

Jin quietly thanked him and took a sip. "It's been a while since we've been here~" Jin commented, and Namjoon hummed in response. "Lots of memories are rushing through my mind."
