Chapter 9

Yoongi's eyes fluttered open, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as his vision focused on the sleeping body next to him, wondering why Jimin was there when they never slept over at each other's places. Then he remembered that by the time they had finished the previous night, it was already nearing 4:00 in the morning, so Jimin said it was okay for Yoongi to spend the night that one time. Yoongi accepted because it wasn't like he'd need to be home to be able to get ready for work in the morning since he and Namjoon had the day off, but mainly because he was too tired to do anything except curl up under Jimin's comforter and fall asleep.

The intern before him looked so peaceful, not a single sign of discomfort on his face as his lips pouted out slightly, small puffs of air passing through them as he breathed. Yoongi wasn't sure what possessed him to do what he did next. A temporary moment of insanity or his still sleep-muddled mind, whichever it was, Yoongi suddenly found himself leaning forward and softly pressing his lips to Jimin's. After a few seconds, Jimin's lips began to move against his too, although they were slower and not as coordinated due to the younger male having just woken up. Yoongi finally pulled away, opening his eyes so he could see Jimin. He didn't fully realize what he had done until Jimin's eyes opened, fear flashing in his gaze as the younger male realized what it was that had woken him.

Yoongi couldn't even get a word out to discuss the kiss, the first kiss between the two of them, before Jimin was already stammering. "Y-you should probably go." Jimin said, no longer looking at Yoongi as he threw the blanket off of himself and climbed out of bed.

"Ji-"

"I have a really important test today." Jimin continued as if he hadn't heard Yoongi trying to speak. "I have to get ready and go, so please leave." Yoongi opened his mouth to try again, but Jimin quickly entered the en suite, slamming the door behind him. It was when Yoongi heard the lock that he sighed and climbed out of the bed himself, beginning the harrowing search for his clothes.

"You excited for opening night?" Hoseok asked Taehyung, wanting to talk to his boyfriend before Jin went all drill sergeant in order to prepare for the first showing of their musical.

"Try nervous." Taehyung responded, looking extremely worried about how the performance would turn out.

Hoseok reached out and placed his hands on either side of the younger male's face. "I have watched you every day at rehearsal, so trust me when I say you have nothing to worry about." Taehyung opened his mouth to argue but was cut off when Hoseok pressed his lips to his. "Nothing to worry about." The choreographer repeated firmly.

Taehyung sighed. "If you say so."

"Listen to me." Hoseok demanded, pulling Taehyung's face closer to his. "You are one of the most talented actors I've seen and Jin is one of the most talented directors. The performance is going to go great and you are going to get a standing ovation."

Taehyung finally smiled, lightly pressing his lips to Hoseok's for a brief second. "Thank you~"

Hoseok returned the kiss, murmuring a 'you're welcome'. He then said, "And when you get that standing ovation, I'm going to congratulate you." Taehyung could have assumed that Hoseok meant taking him out to dinner or for ice cream, but from the glint in the older male's eyes, Taehyung knew that that was far from what he meant.

The actor suddenly had a new type of motivation for making sure his performance that night would be the best it could be.

Namjoon was sitting in the middle of his and Jin's walk in closet, phone pressed between his shoulder and ear as he went through a few boxes that were lined up against the wall. Jin had been asking him to do it for a while, and since he had the day off, he finally decided to get it done to surprise Jin that night. "I still don't get what the big deal is, Yoongi."
