Jungkook got up quickly that morning. The sun was shining and it was a perfect day for another date with Seokjin. Fumbling around for his phone on his nightstand, he quickly texted him. Since it had been 5 minutes since he had sent the text, he started spamming. It was a "rule" he developed when texting Seokjin. It was basically a 'Text me back in 5 minutes or else I'll blow up your screen with notifications' meaning.

9:38 AM. Time to spam, Jungkook thought gleefully.

Jungkook sighed. It was 10:40 AM now. Jungkook refrained himself from texting Seokjin. It felt like forever. Jungkook decided to call him, and he did. Many, many (manhi) times. But it was a  futile effort and in the end it only got Jungkook more frustrated. Confused. Annoyed. Either he had done something to hurt Seokjin (which he was unaware of), or Seokjin was just busy. Jungkook prayed it was the second reason.

Jungkook yawned and decided to go for a morning jog. He brushed his teeth, combed through his hair with his fingers, and changed into comfy clothes. Some fresh air will help me get my mind off things, he thought as he plugged in his headphones. Soothing voices flowed through his head and the rhythm of his feet was what kept him through the long jog. By the time he was done, he was breathless and sweaty.

Just one last time, Jungkook promised to himself as he pulled up Seokjin's contact. He felt his heart sink when he saw he had been left on read. Jeez, was it that hard to say 'hi'? Jungkook bit his lip, feeling hurt and annoyed. He felt like a fool, spamming for no reason and being left on read. No matter how much Seokjin hated Jungkook and threatened to block his number, he had never left him on read. Until today. Which meant he did something to trouble Seokjin, but what?

Exhausted physically and mentally, Jungkook flops back onto his bed. Love was so, so, so difficult. A tug of push and pull. Jungkook had no way of understanding Seokjin-one day he was going to threaten to kill him, and the next he'd be sweet and kind. Which only leads to one conclusion-Seokjin is a handsome, bipolar guy who I may or may not like. (JK y'all, don't attack me)

Although Jungkook felt hurt but the brutal read, he couldn't help but have this tingly, euphoric feeling spread all over him just by the thought of Seokjin.
