Namjoon secretly watches the couple's sweet moment. Usually, he would have to tell Seokjin and Jungkook consistently to stop fighting, so this was a very rare sight. He grinned. Unfortunately, he didn't get to savor this moment before a customer walked in.
"Hello how may I help you-" Namjoon says before being cut off abruptly.
"Give me a caramel macchiato before I sue your coffee shop." The mint-haired man said.
"Alrighty then." Namjoon thought this man was quite queer but oh well. Noting the way he spoke to Namjoon, it only seemed like he'd never come back. Which was quite disappointing, but then again, he wouldn't want to be told countless times for the coffee shop to be sued.
To his surprise, the man became a daily customer. And on a daily basis, Namjoon would have to hear him complain, threaten to sue the shop, and knew he wouldn't do such a thing when he gave a generous tip. It was around a couple weeks since Namjoon first saw him. Surprisingly enough, he didn't know his name the first couple of weeks. Well, besides the nickname Namjoon made for him. The-guy-who-wants-to-sue-the-coffee-shop-but-is-actually-a-nice-guy nickname. If he had made a nickname for Namjoon, I'd probably be that-weird-guy-with-dimples. Which was kind of Namjoon is a nutshell. Of course, you needed to add IQ of 148, crab-lover, and a couple of other things. Then you'd be all set to go. Anyways, his name was Min Yoongi which faintly struck a bell but he wasn't quite sure where. So Namjoon decided to brush it off, it couldn't be that big of a deal, could it?
Yoongi usually ordered the same thing-caramel macchiato, caramel macchiato, caramel macchiato, and the occasional bitter black coffee.
"Caramel macchiato?" Was the first thing Namjoon asked when the familiar face walked in.
Yoongi opened his mouth, closed it, then opened it once more. "I was going to get a caramel macchiato..but y'know, I'm craving a black coffee right now."
"Don't be like that man. I already made it" Namjoon pouted slightly.
"Fine, a caramel macchiato it is." Yoongi shrugged, pulling out a couple crumpled bills from his pocket. Namjoon quickly studied his features and realized what he just did and turned away quickly so that Yoongi wouldn't see him blush. "I'll get it in a second."
Namjoon was very focused, praying that he wouldn't trip over his two feet. He felt Yoongi's eyes on him, and heard the rhythm he was tapping with his fingers. "Here you go!" Namjoon grins. Yoongi smiles, a slightly fond look on his face that surprises Namjoon a bit. But it quickly vanished with a slight cough and a "thank you" mumbled under Yoongi's breath.
"Enjoy.." Namjoon says awkwardly, even though Yoongi probably couldn't hear him. He quietly watches Yoongi's small hands push the door, and Namjoon's heart grows just a tiny bit more heavier.
...
"Let's go on a date!" Jungkook's eyes are shining as if he was a child receiving a big present for Christmas. "It'll be fun! Where do you wanna go?"
And god, who'd be that cruel enough to reject those cute, twinkling doe eyes and small but cute pout? As much as Seokjin hated Jungkook, he'd never be that cruel.
"You're paying," Seokjin grumbled. Jungkook's eyes twinkle even more, and maybe, just maybe this date would be worth it.
