This is a thing that really helps keep things fresh in your mind. It doesnt matter how well you draw. Nor how well you draw something.
Tutorials
Are
LIFE!!
Just as how to books are essential, so are tutorials. They are the lifeblood of memory art.
In fact, there is never a thing called "drawn by memory". Artists, day in and day out, have bookshelves packed full of how to books, sketchbooks that they can go back to, and even notes from tutorials theyve watched.
Tutorials are more hands on and more in depth, because the artist delves in the glore of the outlines, emphasizing the importance of guidelines, and even takes their viewers needs and desires into account for their videos.
A few artists I personally watch religiously are
Mark Crilley - comic book artist of Brady's ghost, How to draw manga, how to draw manga 2, how to draw manga 3, and miki falls.
Jazza- famous YouTube artist with a sexy Australian accent and funny dude.
Ok. Both are funny. But that makes watching their videos all the more enjoyable.
I have yet to begin my youtube art channel due to terrible cameras, so once I invest in better equipment, be sure to look for me. I'll be updating whenever I get the chance to go tube
