Words Can't Begin

Chapter 18

C:Syd-

I cut him off by walking away and going back over to my family. After we left the school all the seniors went to the party that the school had decided to throw for us, I of course brought Kevin and introduced him to Perry and Natalie. They loved him, especially Perry(lol). I had a great time hanging out with my friends and Kevin and also dancing with Kevin, but I kept noticing Corbyn staring at me. Once the party was over I drove Kevin home.
S: Thanks for coming today

Ke: Hey no problem, thanks for introducing me to your friends
S: They really liked you
Ke:*chuckling* Yeah they did

I giggled.

Ke: I had fun tonight

S: I did too :)

We stayed staring at each other in silence and it was sort of awkward, but he eventually broke the silence.

Ke: Anyway..um thanks for bringing me home

S: No problem

Ke: See you in the morning vanilla latte

S:*giggling* See you in the morning

Ke: 8:30

S: Ok i’ll be there

Ke: Ok

I drove off with a smile on my face and instantly looking forward to tomorrow. I got home, changed, and went straight to bed.

-Next morning-

I woke up at 8 and began getting my things together. Once I made sure that everything was together I grabbed my bags and made my way downstairs.

Sar: I’ll send your boxes to you tomorrow

S: Ok thank you mom

Sar:*tearing up* Your welcome sweetie

S: Aww don’t cry, if you cry then i’m gonna cry

Sar: I can’t help it

I hugged her tightly before pulling away.

J: I’ll take your bags to your car

Sa: I’ll help

I watched as each one of them took a bag and I turned to my dad.

Jo: I can’t believe your going to college, my little girl
S: I’m not so little anymore

He pulled me into his embrace.

Jo: No you’re not

I didn’t want to let go, but I pulled out of the hug and gave my parents a small smile before turning back to James and Sam who were waiting with my bags by the door. We walked out to my car and they put my bags in the back before turning to me. I started tearing up instantly and Sam pulled me into a hug as he started tearing up too.

Sa:*tearing up* I’m gonna miss you

S:*crying* I’m gonna miss you too

Sa: Hey, if you ever start missing me or forgetting what I look like then just look in the mirror and picture yourself without makeup and with shorter hair

I just giggled and pulled out of the hug wiping my tears away.

Sa: I love you sis
S: Love you too bub

I gave him one last smile before I got in the car with James following  in behind me and getting in on the passenger side. I watched as Sam waved to us as I pulled out of the driveway and took off for the airport...
